This shoulder brace does a good job where it matters most. My wife has been using it, and the part that supports her shoulder feels solid and provides noticeable relief, especially around the rotator cuff area. It is comfortable enough for her to wear under clothes and seems thoughtfully designed for everyday use. The challenge for her has been the strap that wraps around the body. She has had some trouble getting it to stay in place or feel tight enough, so there may be a bit of a learning curve with the fit. We may need to fine tune the adjustment. I play volleyball and still recovering from a partial Superspinatus rotator cuff tear. I took should support very seriously during rehab and post physical therapy sessions. The compressions feels secure without putting too much pressure on the shoulder and limiting the range of motion. I can wear it for hours without feeling uncomfortable. It it lightweight and breathable and not causing overheat sensation. The adjustable traps make it easy to get the right fit, and allow you to wear it on left or right shoulder. I have small ice pack the easily fit it in the shoulder brace and keeps my shoulder cool after workouts. I'm a paraplegic, and I am hard on my shoulders. So, I have used many different compression sleeves and braces over the years. This one, unfortunately, missed the mark. This one can be used on either shoulder and has a lot of adjustability, which is impressive. When it said "Universal Size," I had my doubts; however, this turned out to actually be true. This brace, like most, has a separate layer so you can put an ice pack in between the two and ice your shoulder at the same time. This is about all I found this brace to be useful for. There are breathable holes in the underlayer of that pouch, so the ice can penetrate through. This is a nice feature that isn't often seen in these types of braces. The support of this brace was nearly non-existent, as was the compression. While I could get a lot of compression in my bicep, I couldn't get this to provide any in the shoulder. Tightening the strap around the chest just put pressure on my shoulder to pull it forward; it lacks the material or angle to actually provide compression in the area intended. Maybe a different body type will find this useful, but it just isn't suitable for me. Read more

This is great for a frozen shoulder (when your shoulder experiences a lot of pain at rotation or extension). If you're menopausal, that frozen shoulder is coming to a store near you! The brace has a pocket where you can insert a hot pack that helps ease the tightened/inflamed muscle and makes putting on clothes a little easier. I also like that you can wear it on either side but for my specific needs, I'm having tow ear on my left shoulder and insert an air activated heat pad. It's low profile enough that you could wear this inside your clothing but I find it more comfortable on top of a tshirt. Sucks that this does not come with a gel pack that fits perfectly in the pocket. Overall quality is good, there is a little stretch but not a lot and enough give to fit various girths. Read more

This shoulder brace is well made with lots of adjustments, to fit a wide range of sizes. I am very small, and I was able to get in on tight (though just barely and had some puckering at the shoulder). It is great that you can wear it on the right or left side. But the best feature is the adjustable cup on type of the shoulder sleeve so that a hot or cold pack can be inserted. It also allows for better adjustment to fit better. The brace stabilizes the shoulder and allows you to move around while icing or heating. The price of $14.99 is reasonable. I would recommend. Read more
