I hurt my left shoulder due to holding my heavy phone long time. I did some stretching exercises by following the related YouTube channels. My shoulder was getting better but not completely recovered to the previous level. Therefore I bought this heating pad and wanted to gave it a try. After one month using it and stretching exercises, my pain relieved. The pad is light weight, has three heating levels to choose. I chose the highest heat level when I used it at first time. My skin left red. So I adjusted to the middle level for 15 mins per session and my skin is fine. This heating pad works great on me. With aging, I have suffered left shoulder pain come and go for more than 2 years. This shoulder heat pad helped a lot. The strap is adjustable, fitting my shoulder tightly. The size is uniform designed for shoulders of both sides, big enough to wrap all the shoulder joints. It is made of durable material. Three heat setting can be chosen for the best effect. After using 20minutes/day for half months, I feel much better with my left shoulder. The small ball can be used for local massage of the joints. Definitely I like it and would like to recommend it. This is very hard to put on - I'm still trying to figure out the best way to do it that works for me. Once it's on it's hard to find the USB connector and reach around to the switch - I've figured out that I need to get it connected first. The straps are difficult to reach and fasten - I leave the arm strap already fastened so I slip into it like a sleeve - but in the strap that goes around the chest there's such a small area of velcro to connect you have to make sure there's no twist in the thing, which is difficult to do with one hand while trying to line it up. Once it's on (fortunately I often have help to do this) it works very well. It would be multiple orders of magnitude better if (A) the strap had hooks along the length on one side and loops along the length of the other, and (B), like Bluetooth earbuds, had a rechargeable battery so the user isn't tethered to a plug. But like I said before, once it's on it does its job. I have rotator cuff issues and wear this before I swim - and the results are good. Read more
