I was so excited to get this and it is beautiful and very nicely made. However, I was a bit concerned when I removed it from the package, because it seemed small. It is. The sleeves didn’t even reach my elbows and the back didn’t reach my waist. It looked like a card, not even big enough to be a shawl. So if you’re a preteen or a size 4 or smaller, go for it. First, this is NOT cashmere! The description at the time of my review here is misleading by stating "Sweater Shawl Wrap for Women Elegant Cashmere Ponchos Short Sleeve Shrug Sweater Cardigan Crochet Open Front Top Cape". It is a polyester & acrylic blend, and does get static charge if the air is dry enough. Even if they were just comparing it to the feel of cashmere, it's just not that soft and also does not have the drape or flow of cashmere. It's a bit on the thicker side, so it can be worn in the winter for those of us who live in the colder regions. It is not easy to pull it across the front in order to wrap yourself with it (like in the promo photo) as it is too short and that causes it to stretch and tug in the back. I would say this fits more like a shrug or bolero than it does a wrap or shawl. I gave this 3 stars in part because of this issue with trying to pull it together in the front for a true "wrap" but also mainly because of the misleading use of "cashmere" in the description. But otherwise it is comfortable if I let it just drape by my arms, and it will likely choose this when I want something that feels like a simple shrug or bolero for those coolish days. Read more
