I don't usually leave reviews, but sometimes it's worth it. These shelves are just what we need! Excellent quality, the glass is heavy, and a great price! My husband wanted these shelves. He had ordered them from a glass company (not knowing we could find them on Amazon), and they were about $200 for four. Luckily, they were so small they couldn't make them, so we went to Amazon and wow! We found them for a much better price! Now, we just remodeled our shower, so my husband installed the shelves between the tiles. I read bad reviews about the glue, so they might be a good option only if you're remodeling your bathroom. I really like these glass shelves. I anchored them with stainless screws (that I purchased separately) into the grout joints. They are pretty solid. I, personally, would not trust just the adhesive. No glue last forever. Some of it doesn't stick for squat to some surfaces. Note: Some of the plastic tipped screws that hold the glass in place are very difficult to get threaded all the way in. Out of the 6 screws provided (2 extra) , 3 of them were very difficult to turn in far enough to reach the glass after the brackets were mounted to the tile. I had to remove the brackets from the wall and really crank down on the set screw (thankfully on only one of them) and run it back and forth a couple of times as the machining is not consistent. Overall I am satisfied with this item. However, why they omitted 90 degree corner braces to add to the stability of the shelves is beyond me. It seems like such an obvious needed part, as the two included braces per shelf are not sufficient to keep the shelf from rocking. I will fabricate my own and install. Read more
