Sturdy when assembled. The opening between where the chair goes is 25.5", so it's suitable for a small/medium chair. The slightly rounded corners are nice, especially in a tight space. The fit and finish are decent and it was quick and easy to assemble. Read more
I got this desk for my boyfriend's condo to function as a work desk for myself as well as an xbox gaming area for him. The shelfs on the side were perfect to easily store his xbox, consoles, headset, extension cord etc and kept everything neat and organized! This was a great price for the quality of this desk! The desk was really easy to put together, and works well for my small space. Easily fits my laptop and monitor, with room for a mouse pad and drinks. It is a little short, so I have my chair lowered all the way down. The space is wide enough that my office chair is able to be pushed in. I bought this desk for my home office/work-from-home set up. It has everything I need. Two large shelves, and a large desk surface. I fit my laptop, all my accessories, podcast mic, little desk organizer, and a little potted plant, and it doesn't look cluttered! I opted for the white metal and light wood, and it looks awesome in my home. The sturdiness of the desk is great for the price. Super-simple, no frills desk for work at home or student's needs. It was easy to assemble, the tool and extra screws were nice. I bought the first one for my son's college apartment and I assembled it at home to see if the product was worth it. The price felt too good to be true. I liked it so much that I replaced my "work at home desk" (three TV trays) with this desk and ordered a new one for my son and then one for each of his 2 future roommates. I bought 3 white/wood-look and 1 black. I like the white/wood-look best since the black will show dust and cup rings if a coaster is not used (by the roommates) and it looks better in my office, etc. Read more
