A couple of things: This is my 2nd SHW brand, the first being a 40-inch. The 40-inch top was all one piece--this one in 2 pices (a 48 in seam) with dowels. For my purpose this works. For some it would not. The photo for their purchase does not show the seam. 1. They include extra scres, dowel, just in case. GREAT! 2. You do need a screw driver for the O screws. 3. Good directions although the last couple not quite as clear. 4. I wish it lowered another inch or two. 5. I wish they had a corner desk that adjusts. FINAL NOTE: Go to the SHW store. I was very impressed with how easy this desk was to assemble. It took me less than 20 minutes to put together, and the instructions were clear. The desk is also sturdy with only a minor wobble if you forcefully shake it at full height. I love that it has a quiet motor which is great for working at home when others may be sleeping. The only downside to this desk is that it doesn't quite lower enough for me. I'm 5'11", and I would like to be able to lower the desk to a height of 24 inches, but it only goes down to 25 inches. This is still a good height for me to stand at, but it would be ideal if it could go a little lower. Overall, I'm very happy with this desk. It's a great value for the price, and it's helped me to be more productive and healthier at work. I would definitely recommend it to others that are working from home. Pros: - Easy to assemble (less than 20 minutes) - Sturdy and well-made - Quiet motor - Affordable price Cons: - Doesn't lower quite enough (25 inches is the lowest setting) Overall: I would definitely recommend this desk to others.
