I am 6' tall 185 lbs. I typically wear a 12/14 or a L/XL. I really like this lightweight sweater. I over-heat easily, so I love that it is light and airy! It can be dressed up or down. And if you put it in the drier, it shrinks just a bit, but then I hang it on a hanger, stretch the sleeves, and the sweater becomes perfectly sized!!! And thankfully, it has long sleeves for us taller women! The photo was taken before washing - but I actually like the sweater better after washing and stretching the sweater to my proportions. This crochet sweater is cute and comfortable. The knit holes are large so there's a bit of sheerness to it. Also because of this, I wouldn't wear it in winter unless you have an undershirt or you'll be getting a nice chill. The sweater is well-made and pretty. I sized-down because I like a more formed fit. I got this top for my wife since she likes loose tops for her days at home. She pulled it on right away and said the knit felt soft on her shoulders. The wide neck sat a bit lower on one side, and she liked that look. The stripes gave it a simple style that fit her jeans with no fuss. I saw small open areas in the fabric, and she said air moved through those spots in a good way when the house felt warm. The fit hung large on her frame, yet it did not look sloppy. One sleeve sat a touch longer than the other, though she said it did not bug her at all. I felt the cloth with my hand, and it had a smooth touch with no rough bits. A tiny thread on the hem stuck out, so she trimmed it with small scissors. She washed it in our old machine, and it came out fine with no twist or odd shape. I normally order a large simply because I like to layer clothing in the winter, but I could have ordered a medium and still had plenty of room to do that, However I do love the look and feel of this sweater, and even as large as it is it drapes well enough it looks rather classy even if you want to wear it casually. And yet going for a more dressed up look is made easy with this sweater. Versatility plus for sure. And it's very comfortable. It was sent vacuum packed and yet there weren't many wrinkles at all.
