The adhesive tape strips are much stronger than I expected. I attached to tile, but would be nervous to attached to a painted surface if I wanted to remove in the future. I have a built-in soap holder in my bathtub/shower, but the included soap holder could be used for something else or a different soap, like a facial bar. I also needed a way to hold my electric toothbrush so that separate holder is perfect and I can include my toothpaste and more. Haven't got anything really heavy in the holders, so far they are holding well and the adhesive tape just disappears onto the wall, no sign of it once I installed, but the hooks are not exactly even, so I spent more time trying to line them up than I anticipated. I got this for our shower as I found many hygiene products were placed in various spots around the shower. The caddy seems to have good adhesion to the drywall above my shower. The reason I had to place it on TOP of the shower itself is because all of our shower/bath tubs have the standard rounded inside corners. With this product being a right angle, it won't fit in the shower itself, hence I placed it above. Now this isn't a problem for me however my wife has difficulty reaching it this high. Forget my kids they definitely can't reach it. Now there are 2 smaller caddys that will fit in the tub itself. I chose not to place these as we usually have several bottles placed in our shower and I wanted to use the corner caddys. Let me start off by saying that I can’t stand clutter. I do not like having my shampoo bottles and such sitting directly on the lip of the tub. I feel like mold and mildew tend to build up more when air can’t circulate around the items so they dry thoroughly. I love that this comes with 2 corner caddy’s. They fit perfectly in the corner and you can place them at whatever height you want. I think it is stronger and holds more since it fits in the corner. It holds my liter bottles perfectly. It has hooks that you can hang your washrag/poof and razor. I brush my teeth in the bathroom sink and not the shower, so I don’t know if it will end up using that piece and I don’t use bar soap so probably won’t use that either but if I change my mind, I have them!! The package included adhesive strips that have hooks to attack to the wire shelves and so far, they have a sturdy grip. They are easy to adhere, clean and let the surface dry, peel the backing off and place where desired. I let mine “cure” for 24 hours before I put anything in them. I like that you can stick these however far apart you want, provided you have a 90-degree corner. The main units WILL NOT work in shower stalls with rounded corners. The accessory caddy and soap dish can both be stuck wherever you like though. The construction of these is solid. Though it's made of skinny welded bars, there's no give when I try to twist or squeeze them. The real test is how good the adhesive is, since the sturdiest caddy in the world is useless if it won't stay on the wall. The included hooks are attached to big adhesive strips that actually stick very well. Make sure the surface is dry and clean, then let it sit there overnight before hanging anything on it. This gives it time to finish its sticking process. After letting the adhesive stick to the wall unencumbered overnight, I hung the baskets on them and loaded them up with big shampoo and conditioner bottles. Several days later it's still up with no sign of failing. This is a good quality, versatile set for organizing your shower stuff. Read more
