These work very well on freshly healed skin. I had a terribly noticeable burn on the back on my hand and it left a hot pink line like a flat welt. I used these daily for a few weeks right after the blister healed. The mark is almost unnoticeable. I also tried it on a slightly older healed spot that was still very pink. It lightened it considerably but it is still visible. I also found that if I return the lightly used strip onto the backing when not in use, I am able to reuse the same patch several applications. Very comfortable to wear, it moves with my body and I hardly notice I have it on. Add in that the color that matches my skin tone almost identically and I feel like I can hide my scars while treating their appearance.
