I like this shirt overall, but I do find the neck a bit tight. To be fair, I really don't like anything too close around my neck, but I had hoped that by purchasing a larger size I would have avoided this issue. This is just a personal preference and might not bother someone else. The shirt is attractive, soft and drapes nicely, and it was a very good buy for a 100% mulberry silk shirt. I have only washed it twice (by machine in a mesh bag, line dried) and it came out beautifully each time. It requires no ironing - a big plus - and the taupe color is very versatile. The length, which is often an issue with Asian imports, is quite good, and I am long-waisted, so I doubt anyone would have a complaint. If not for that tight neckline, I would have gotten another of these shirts, but I have bought a couple of other styles from this same company, and I have been satisfied with all of them. Read more
This is a very nice lightweight long sleeved turtleneck top. I washed it and it did just fine.Stretchy, lightweight yet warm, true to size.fits me well. The silk fabric is nice and slim body hugging. great quality too. Read more
This turtleneck is the softest whisper of silk. Totally luxurious and kept my torso warm as a base layer. I wish there were more colors available. I really like it and have ordered 2 more, so I don't have to do wash everyday. Read more

I'm a size 16 and originally bought an XL. I wore it nearly every day on my European winter trip and it kept me cozy, weighed very little and slipped friction-free under sweaters without adding bulk. However, it was very loose and the sleeves were too long (I've gifted it to my husband now). I subsequently bought 2 L tops and they are perfect. I will use them for my upcoming Norway to Sicily spring trip - as an under layer in Norway and as a turtle neck on its own in Sicily. The neck is loose and comfortable - not constricting. As it's a natural fiber, it doesn't make you sweat or collect stink like man-made fibers would. Read more
