Picked up the Silkland 80 Gbps DisplayPort cable a few weeks ago, and I’m impressed. I’ve gone through a bunch of “high-speed” cables in the past that claimed 8K support but couldn’t even handle 4K 144Hz properly — this one actually does. Running it between my PC (RTX 4090) and two 4K 240Hz monitor, and it’s been great. No flicker, no signal drops, just super smooth performance. Build quality is top-notch too — nice thick braided cable, sturdy connectors, and it feels like it’ll last forever. It’s not stiff or bulky either, which is nice if you need to route it behind a desk. Overall, it’s just one of those products that does what it’s supposed to do. Fast, stable, and works as advertised. Definitely worth it if you’ve got a high-end monitor and/or GPU. Read more

The Silkland DisplayPort Cable is pretty good; the cable is very strong and easy to plug in from monitor to graphics card. The Price is definitely worth it, because with this cable I'm finding out that at 240Hz the output color depth can actually go up to 12 BPC when the review was only saying 10 BPC for my monitor, but on 360hz only 8 BPC is available. Good quality, thick cable, nice heads, no locking tabs (great for me), and real DP2.1 80Gbps. I have a 4k 240hz DP2.1 PG27UCDM monitor and a 5090, DSC OFF in monitor OSD and get 20Gbps x 4 lanes = 80Gbps FULL bandwidth read by GPU-Z. Both 5 feet and 6.6 feet work good. Read more
