I'm tired of trying to attach suction devices to my bathroom tile that inevitably fail and fall off the wall. So when I needed a hook for my shower mirror, I tried this one because it attaches with strong adhesive, rather than suction. Per the instructions, I cleaned the tile well with rubbing alcohol and waited 24 hours after attaching the hook to the wall before hanging anything from it to give the adhesive time to "cure." These hooks are rated for up to five pounds, which is sufficient for my purpose. So far, the bond seems to be very strong, despite the steam from the shower; nevertheless, I've decided that just to be safe, I'll only hang the mirror when I'm using it in the shower and remove it when I'm finished. The gray silicone with stainless steel has a modern look that I like. And I'm glad there are two hooks in the pack... I just have to decide what to use the other one for. They are only recommended for non-porous materials like ceramic, glass, and stainless steel, so you wouldn't use them on painted walls or wood furniture. If I ever change my mind and want to remove a hook, there's a little pull tab on the bottom. You pull it straight down (not out) to release the adhesive. I don't know if they can be attached anywhere else once removed, as I've had no need to try that. One caveat: I found it difficult to remove the backing paper that protects the adhesive. I finally used the edge of a credit card to lift one corner of the paper enough so that I could grab it and pull the rest of it off. Read more

Our marble tile shower required some more shower hooks. I dislike drilling holes in tile and never trust 3M style sticky tape in wet locations. Today's adhesives are more like sticky jelly and have been working great. These hooks have that style adhesive and can confirm holding well for last month. Our marble tiles are not perfect smooth but do have a sheen to them. At this point, we primarily use both of these to hold our heavier metal squeegee as the hooks not large enough for wash clothes. They are good for anything with loops on them. I wish the vertical post on the hook was shorter since the squeegee cannot hang by the handle (may end up cutting shorter). The grey silicon adds a unique touch and ends up looking great with the grey tones in our marble. The hooks can be turned very slowly if not exactly straight from the factory. Excellent value for the price. Read more

These are not the flimsy thin silicone that we're used to seeing on most products nowadays. These are sturdy thick silicone that is a modern design, in a cool shape. They are a decent size and tastefully done, not just a plain square or circle. And they have other uses than just for the shower too. I have a ton of straws from various water jugs/cups over the years and wash them a lot so I keep my straw cleaners right under the sink on several clips. These would be great if you wanted to hang straw brushes or those other brushes with rings for things like bottles or cleaning the kurig, water purifier pitchers, diffusers, humidifiers, all of which I hate cleaning but can't escape from. These hooks are perfect for that also - under the sink or cabinet doors... The silver hooks are very sturdy - not a thin metal that will bend or break off. They are really solid and will have no problem holding all kinds of body/net sponges, loofahs, or whatever scrubbies you prefer, and even hand towels and of course wash clothes, even some lighter weight body towels. (Along with razors, bath brush, lotion/self tanner applicator, etc…) Wait for 24 hours after hanging to make sure they are stuck well to the surface and they’ll hold up to 5lbs. I’m very impressed with these and can’t wait to use them, since we just started remodeling our 29 year old bathroom, I'll have to wait a month or so but when I do, I’ll update with its longevity/durability. The other thing I love is that they are removable with no residue. The little tab at the bottom is to stretch the silicone and break the seal on the sticky part and then you can remove it. My only other comment is a nod to the company’s logo. It might not seem like a big deal but I’m so glad it’s classy and understated, rather than - well you get the idea. I understand advertising a company’s name but it get’s a little tiresome to look at obtrusive brand names and logo’s in my personal space. I’m just glad these are nicely done! Read more

These are really nice! We have a beautiful composite shower / tub combo and needed a place to hang bath poufs for the diminutive person who can’t reach the shower curtain rings for one. These installed very easily and are extremely sturdy. If it turns out they’re also restickable and stay?! Absolute gold for anyone with a smooth surface that needs a waterproof hook. Read more

These hooks have a great thick gooey sticky back which keeps them on the wall. Very sturdy and does its job well. Unlike previous hooks I have used this one stays put. Just make sure you allow at least 24 hours after installing to cure before hanging anything on it. I love the silicone it's perfect for putting inside showers/wet places. I used these 2 for towels by the shower but plan to order more for bath sponges inside the shower. I really like these hooks. I choose the gray color. The color is a darker shade then shown in the photos and is more of a slate gray. While I would have liked them to be more like the pictures they do look nice against the light grey tiles in my shower. The contemporary octagonal shape with incised border lines also compliments the subway tiles. After determining were to place them, the peel and stick installation was a breeze. The manufacturer recommends installation on any clean, smooth surface and allowing 24 hrs after installation before use. After 24 hours the hooks are very secure, and they didn’t budge when I tugged n them. Even though I can’t imagine taking them down, I do like that the manufacturer included instructions for removal.
