These scissors are a lifesaver! Everyone says to trim babies’ nails when they are sleeping, during a daytime nap (to have good lighting). My almost-3-month-old son is a champ about sleeping through the night, but he is not great about napping during the day, so I have to tackle his nails while he’s awake. I had tried two different styles of baby nail clippers before these without success. Using baby nail clippers, I either couldn’t get his nails at all or else accidentally clipped skin (and one time it caused a lot of bleeding that took 10-15 minutes of applying pressure to stop—talk about feeling like a terrible mom!). But then I ordered these, and I successfully (and easily, painlessly) trimmed all of his nails on the first try! What a game changer! They have a rounded tip so they don’t poke the baby when you maneuver them between the skin and nail, yet they are sharp enough to immediately cut the nail when you use them. I no longer dread trimming his fingernails, nor do I have to worry so much anymore about him clawing his face (or my chest when breastfeeding) or have the embarrassment of taking him in public with super long fingernails. These are must have. East to throw in a bag and grab as needed! I dont know how baby nails feel like razor claws but these take care of it. Perfect size as I was able to trim nails while feeding the clawed one lol! Would buy again. Read more
