This is a great product. Easy set up, works perfect for us older folks. Provides a great sounding speaker by the bedside without disturbing the rest of the family by blasting the TV speakers. Highly recommended at a great Amazon price. A+++++ Read more

Speaker was very easy to set up, I used the optical audio cable because there is no audio lag in the speaker, and the volume on the TV can be adjusted independent of the speaker. The 3 equalizer settings on the back allow to set how much you wish to isolate voices. The most filtered setting is a bit tinny, so I opted for the middle setting. It switches well between TV and Bluetooth, though I wish that switch was on the front because I switch between TV and podcasts often. Also, I wish the DC plug had a 90% bend because I would like to hang the speaker on a hook. I did happen to read on the back of the speaker to remove the battery if you will be keeping the speaker plugged in, otherwise your battery may swell. Read more

DOUBLE THE STARS, AWESOME PRODUCT! It's more than my expectation and saved me at least $50 from Simolio. I’m hearing impaired and used to make TV much loud which disturbed my family a lot. I was seeking everywhere for a good product. I made comparisons to several similar wireless TV speakers before ordering. For Simolio SM-621D, besides the built-in digital optical converter and additional power adapter for speaker charging and power supply independently, it also provides an under-chin designed headset which can be connected to the speaker for quietly hearing TV . But for the other similar one, if I prefer optical input and don’t want to return the receiver to the transmitter base for charging . I will have to spend extra money to purchase a digital optical converter and two power adapters (one for digital optical converter, another for receiver), which means I need totally three adapters to support the whole set unit . what a mess. By contrast, I tended to buy from Simolio. I heard Simolio is a professional seller. It turns out that I am completely right. I have to say this is one of my most successful online shopping so far. The unit is extremely easy to set up, built-in digital optical converter box, works perfect for my Smart TV, I can put the speaker next to me, and the TV dialogue is so clear and close to me. Thanks for their thoughtful idea to provide two AC adapters. The super cost performance also makes me very satisfied, I love the speaker. Highly recommend. Read more

SIMOLIO Wireless Portable TV Speakers with TV Audio Listening Assistance, Voice Highlighting TV Speakers for Hard of Hearing, Seniors and Elderly, 100ft Range, Extra Headset & 2 Adapters -SM-621D We got the TV speaker because one member of the family has a little harder hearing than the rest, and we thought this might be a good way to help them hear without making it too loud for everybody else. The wireless TV speaker comes packaged in a retail box with photos of the product on the outside and a nice picture of a wiring diagram. Inside the box, the speaker is padded by a couple of pieces of styrofoam. (In our area, styrofoam is not recyclable, so it would be more environmentally responsible if the manufacturer used the molded cardboard packing style. Style. In addition to the speaker assembly itself, there is a large wired earphone, the charging base for the speaker assembly along with a wallwart-style power adapter, an earphone-style extension jack, an RCA to headphone jack converter cable, a second power supply, a piece of optical wire ( and first glance about 6 ft long) and a user's manual with a quick start guide. There are a lot of pieces here, so time to read the instructions. The quick guide for installation lists three methods for hookup. You can use the digital optical connection, the RCA analog connection, or the aux /3.5 mm connection ( AKA headphone jack ). I'm planning on using the optical connection, because we have a current speaker bar hooked up through that, and I have purchased an optical splitter connection. ( You have to buy that extra if you'd want one, as they don't come with the kit. ) The quick setup booklet talks only about connections and doesn't mention anything about use or the fact that there are two charging adapters that come with it. Time to read the big book of instructions. The instructions note that the two power adapters are one for the transmitter power supply and one for the speaker power. That way you don't have to take the speaker back to the charging cradle to charge every time if you have a convenient place to plug in power near where you wish to use the portable speaker. One of the things the instructions mentioned is that the stethoscope-style headset that comes with it has memory foam ear tips, which they suggest replacing every 30 to 60 days. The reason I mentioned this is that there are no replacement ear tips included with the kit, so I'm guessing you would have to order them from the manufacturer directly. The stethoscope-style earphones used would appear to be a standard headphone jack, so I'm fairly certain you could plug in any style of headphones you wish. Interestingly enough, on the back of the unit where your power and headphone plugins are, there is a door over the battery with a sticker on it that says," When speaker is powered by adapter directly, remove the battery to avoid battery swelling." " This seems like it would be kind of a pain in the neck to do every time you use the power plug-in. I opened the battery door and underneath it is a flat cellphone-style battery. I don't see why they couldn't make the charger so that it would shut off when the battery is full. Cell phone chargers have been doing that for years, why couldn't they install a circuit that does that here? Once you have everything hooked up, the base sinks automatically with the wireless speaker. The rotating knob in the front of the speaker is also the on/off switch, just like older radios. You turn the knob to the right, you'll hear a click, and then after a moment it will make the wireless connection and you have sound. The sound from the wireless speaker is pretty good, better than smaller headphones or earbuds. Read more

bought three of these because they are convenient and I was a fool. Sound quality and operating range are just ok. They have an annoying habit - if you mute your source (tv) for four minutes, the speaker turns completely OFF. You have to reset it by turning off and back on. It takes about three seconds to reset. This is surprisingly annoying! Each of mine lasted one year to the week, and just died. Kaput. So if you'd like a mediocre product that will not last 12 months, they this is for you. For me, its a total POS. Read more
