It showed up and I thought "is this what I ordered?" It was smaller than I expected... But in a lamp... Why would I want a huge lamp? I really just wanted a reading light by the bed and I think it suits that purpose much better than a large standard bulb lamp--that I originally thought I bought. I put 7 watt bulb equivalents, and those bulbs are enough for me to read under (my eyes are light sensitive and prefer dimmer environments). Some people may want brighter bulbs, and there is a lot of diversity in the brightness you can buy in bulbs for this lamp. If you just want a bedside lamp... This isn't a bad deal. the base is about the size of a stemless wine glass for some perspective... And the shade is about double the diameter. Read more

These lamps are so tiny. I guess they are ok for maybe a very small space, maybe a desk.. I dont yet. I mean tiny. I bought these with the intention of using them as bedside lamps but i feel they are just too small for me. However, they are really cute and sturdy. They take the smaller bulbs. Read more

Works fairly well on shelf on wall above kitchen sink and is economical. Seems a little bit green-gray, rather than straight gray, but that actually worked out better in this situation. It would probably be better to have a lamp that does not have light coming out of the top and illuminating the boring blank wall and ceiling above, but can't afford it right now. Overall, works somewhat well to illuminate wall art on shelf and bring some warmth to the otherwise unlit area. (I have a larger lamp to the right side of sink and I don't use the ugly fluorescent light fixture located on the ceiling.) You do have to non-standard light bulbs for it, but that is not really a hassle. Read more

Love it! I ordered gray and it looks to me like a bit of a greenish gray but not bad enough to make me return it. It’s a perfect little lamp. I use it as a night light with a 4W nightlight bulb and it helps me find my my to bed without tripping in the dark or having to turn on the bright light if my husband’s sleeping. It can be used with a brighter bulb too for more light. It looks very pretty on my dresser and would go great just about anywhere. I’ll be ordering another one. Read more

Grey.The bottom is a very light grey/green?? The shade is a funny color of gray..I'm going to keep it.... but NOT the colors that they say.... I am now going to return the lamp........Not worth a cent. Decription on invoice.....this is a 2nd....There is more light going out the top of the shade than there is under. Lights up the ceiling..!! Lamp is small which makes it good for a night light, however the bowling pin shape makes it much too easy to knock over. Shade is cheaply made. It dents easily and dents don’t come out. The bulb recommended for it sticks up above shade. I’m using a night light bulb instead, which some reviewers recommended. Should have read those reviews first. In spite of its faults the lamp is attractive. However I am not using it by the bed as it could be too easily knocked over. Instead I put it on a shelf with an item next to it to make it more secure. I’ll still get some use out of the lamp, but not on the table by the bed. The biggest disappointment is the shade, which must be a Dollar Tree reject. Read more
