Simple Houseware Double Rod Garment Rack Black

This garment rack was well worth the money. I found it to be sturdy and able to hold various types of clothing (blue jeans, sweatshirts, work shirts, etc.). Having it on casters is great for hanging up clothes in the laundry room and rolling them to the various closets. We found it best to start hanging the clothes on the lower bar first and then the upper bar. If you have extra-long clothes, hanging them on the upper bar first covers up the lower bar and it's a little more difficult to access it. I bought this double rod clothing rack to add some extra storage space, and overall it does a good job. It was easy to assemble and fits well in the room without taking up too much space. It holds clothes nicely and the double rod design is very practical for organizing different items. However, it doesn’t feel extremely strong or heavy-duty, especially if you load it with heavier clothing. As long as you don’t overload it, it works well and looks clean and simple. I wouldn't use the poles that extend out for anything heavy. Overall it holds a LOT of weight. But it definitely wobbles. I had all of my clothes on one wooden bar in the closet that bent and ultimately collapsed under the weight. I put all of those same clothes on this rack and it holds the weight well. Primarily because it's metal and because the weight is split in half with some clothes up top. and some on the lower rack. As long as it's not moving its fine. But if you shift or roll it it wobbles. So it's good for just putting in a closet and not moving it. Also I would prefer each rack to be about 3 inches higher. I have t-shirts on the top rack and to give them space to hang I had to put the lower rack in the lowest position. This puts the collared shirts on the low rack touching the floor. it'd be more ideal to have the lower rack 2 notches higher..and then have the top rack 3 or 6 inches higher also. But thats not possible bc the top rack position is not movable. All in all it's better than what I had with onr huge pole in the closet...and decent for the price. Terrible. Shoddy and cheap. I tried to use these to sell clothes at a market. Hanging anything from the top bar makes the rack dangerously unstable. The base is too narrow and too light so the rack just falls over. I tried weighing down the base with sandbags butThe poles welded to the piece with the wheels bent and broke when clothes were hung it, the whole thing came crashing down.
