It's super cute. No metallic taste. Keeps stuff relatively hot. This lid, though. OF COURSE I've washed and let it dry thoroughly. I used it ONCE and after washing and really letting it dry by the second time, all I can smell is mold. And this thing is right under your nose. I am going to try the vinegar and baking soda rinse later today. I hope that gets rid of the smell. I hate to think that even letting it dry 'thoroughly' still causes that mold smell. Read more

The Mesa Loop water bottles have quickly become my favorite! They are easy to take apart to clean unlike other water bottles. I don’t have to worry about any mold growth. I love the locking feature of the lid that keeps the lid from opening. It has cut down on the amount of spilled water and I can pack it in a bag without worry of it leaking or spilling. The loop on the lid makes carrying it with you even easier. I also love that it has a built in fill line on the inside of the bottle.
