More eco-friendly, from the earth to your bed, than most other materials. Wonderful, sturdy weight and breathable. Keeps you warm enough but not too warm. They have a linen texture so not silky but soften with time and washing. I washed with hot water, laundry soap instead of detergent and into the dryer until just shy of fully dry... Which minimizes wrinkling. Virtually no lint from drying which is a sign of quality and also from not overdrying. If put on the bed straight from the dryer you don't have a bunch of creases nor wrinkles. But honestly if you freak out about wrinkly sheets, your priorities are seriously out of whack and you need counseling. Practice chilling out in these awesome sheets that will probably last a lifetime, saving you money too. Because of the fabric weight and texture, I prefer to use the pillow cases for my extra pillows and ordered a silk pillow case for my happy sleeping face. Best sheets I've ever purchased..... Four washes in at this point and already my favorite. I noticed the corners are clean lines and the elastic on the fitted sheet actually goes all the way around the sheet so it will fit snugly on any mattress. Read more
I didn’t realize these were a cotton linen blend until after I had washed them. Oops. I’m not sure I would have bought them if I had known, but as it turns out, I am happy with them. They do soften up with washing, but it takes a few washes. The first night I slept on them, I wasn’t impressed. Now, after about five washes, they are almost as soft as my 100% linen sheets (which have been washed countless times). I think they will continue to get softer. You can tell these are not 100% linen, because of the drape. They have the slubby look of linen though, and they mostly feel like linen, but the cotton gives the fabric a crispness linen doesn’t have on its own. All of that said, I am happy with what I got for the price I paid. I was on a budget and these aren’t for my main bed, so it isn’t a big deal if they don’t get softer (though I think they will with more washes). The blue color was exactly what I was looking for, a light-medium blue with grey undertones. They matched the photo online very well. As far as functionality, I have no complaints. They have elastic all the way around, fit the mattress well, and the bottom sheet stays in place. The top sheet is not skimpy (I usually buy my sheets individually, and buy up a size for the top sheet). The pillowcases fit well even on my overstuffed “filler” pillows (I have other pillows I sleep on). Read more
Disclaimer that this is the first set of linen sheets that I’ve owned. When I initially received them, I was a little worried they wouldn’t be comfortable enough as they felt extremely scratchy. I washed them with fabric softener and dried them, then put them through the laundry a second time. They did soften a lot, and after only a week on my bed I can’t see myself wanting any other sheets on my bed. They regulate your body temperature so well. I cosleep with my baby and normally she’d get a little sweaty if we were too close. Now she doesn’t sweat at all. For this price point, I will be buying a spare set ASAP! Read more
