What an incredible product! The vacuum picks up dirt and pet hair very well on all my hard floors (Pergo, tile, linoleum, concrete, luxury vinyl, and bricks). It is super quiet compared to my old Oreck, a Shark cordless stick vac, and my canister vacuum. The cordless feature has plenty of power and has never run out, even after operating an hour plus! It also works well on my rugs and the small amount of carpet I have in a closet. On these surfaces, the self propelled feature is almost too powerful. Just amazing!!! Expensive but well worth it. I'm pleased with this vacuum cleaner. It's very easy to maneuver. It will lay flat when going under furniture. It's very lightweight and easy to pick up and move around. Basically it's a no frills vacuum cleaner that's works well, above average on hard floors, great on carpet, and it's simple to maintain. On hard floors, the motor has an annoying high pitch that is muted on carpet. Highly recommend upgrading the wooden brushroll to a metal one the Riccar R10cv uses for even better carpet performance.
