Went to dorm for the 6 ft tall wiggle-butt kiddo. Has stayed put!!! He put in right on vinyl covered dorm mattress, and covered with mattress pad, then sheets. Took a good hour to fully fluff up- so if you are transporting, leave in box til you arrive, and then unroll this FIRST so it can rise. Some parts fluffed up first, which looked weird, but eventually it all did and it was fine. Might be impossible to repack into its original box though, without ability to vacuum air out again! Lasted entire fall semester through multiple sheet changes (I know, I was shocked too), and he said its really comfortable, and pretty cool. Might be cooler temp if we didn't put mattress pad on top- but wanted waterproof layer (haha- friends with drinks sit on it). Fits entire length of twin XL mattress, no gaps. Much cheaper than the big brands, but great bang for your buck for something that's only in use for a short span of time. When it comes home eventually, I might cut up and use for DIY stadium seats! Very pleased. I have read the negative reviews but did not experience any of those issues. At first look you may think it will never expand but we just opened package, left laying on unused bed until next day. Fit bed perfectly, no tears in mattress, no odors. Love, Love the comfort. Covered with fitted sheet and use on a hospital bed in our home. Great value! Read more

As hubby was recovering from surgery, we had hoped this mattress topper would provide an extra bit of comfort AND coolness during recovery. It was a little more comfortable but after about a week, it soon tore all the way across the middle, where the butt was probably placing pressure. My husband is not overweight at only 165 lbs., and we never dreamed this would happen. We have tried several different types of tape to get the topper to be usable, but that doesn't work, and nothing seems to hold it together. Now it worthless! Read more
This topper has improved the feel of my mattress so much. My husband likes very firm mattresses, so I put this XL twin topper on my side of our king mattress. Such a relief! It really has made my side so comfortable. I wish I had bought it a lot sooner. Read more
I bought this for my husband’s bed-ridden aunt, and it fit the hospital bed perfectly. I also bought two deep-pocket fitted bed sheets from Amazon to go with it. That was also a perfect fit. The Twin XL of both were the size. The quality of the topper is spot on. I had bought another one previously from a big box store, and it came damaged. I researched this one a little deeper, and I’m so glad I did! My husband’s aunt loved it and slept like a baby last night! There were no smells, and the thickness was almost 3 inches, but I wasn’t really expecting it to fully expand to 3”, so that’s all good. She picked out the colorful one, and it looked just like the picture. It seems to be just what she needed, and the quality is excellent, so far. A++++ Read more
Like everyone else has said it's not even close to being 3 in. It's barely 2 in thick. I don't know how these companies can just lie in their advertising and Amazon won't remove the misrepresented content. That said, it still does provide a fair bit of comfort. Read more
every thing it claimed and more. I couldn't afford to replace my mattress even through I wasn't sleeping well or through the night.. Backaches were horrible. After allowing a full 48hours for the topper to expand I gave it another 12+ hours and now its like sleeping on a new high quality mattress. No more tossing and turning or backaches. Read more
