I ordered this mat based upon Amazon user recommendations. I must say, it's excellent and a great value. The mat was shipped quickly and once received it took about 5 minutes to set it up on the floor. I bought the exercise mat to place a NuStep T4r Recumbent Cross Trainer on it. The weight of the machine is about 200 pounds and it needs the mat to support this weight and mine on a hardwood floor. So far, it's 5 stars! This mat is thick and heavy duty, yet light weight and easy to put together. I highly recommend it. The cross trainer fits on it like a glove, and the mat provides the appropriate support. Read more
I bought these mats for my garage after I remodeled the entire garage and painted the floor. The mats are very high quality and provide an anti-fatigue surface if you are standing for long periods of time on a cement floor. They look great and the best part is that they can be wiped clean easily. I have spilled oil and paint on these mats they clean up with a paper towel. They still look like new. Very pleased. I also really like the border edges, which give the entire mat a clean look. My old mats didn't have this and the edges always collected dust and dirt and were hard to clean out. Highly recommend. I will buy more if I ever need them. Read more
I bought this mat to fit underneath a weight machine and it works perfect for that. It's just the right size. If you are putting this in an exercise room, you will need several packs. The pack is just a bit larger than a beach towel but it worked perfect for me. Not real thick though. I would buy something thicker for an exercise room. Read more
This mat is really good. I bought it to cover the concrete floor on a screened porch. It is somewhat open to the elements so I need something durable and easy to clean. The porch is a play area and I needed to cover the concrete to prevent injuries. Even though I think this would be enough padding by itself I put down some carpet padding I happened to have around and then put the assembled mat on top of that. It's absolutely great. This foam is 1/2" thick and most other mats seem to be 3/8" thick. I think the extra 1/8 inch makes a difference. It's very high quality foam. The interlocking pieces mean that the playtime can be active without pulling the mat sections apart and I was able to configure a tailor-made design for the play area. I know it seems funny but putting the mat pieces together and then putting on the edging can actually be a bit of a brain twister, especially if you have an asymmetrical layout. I had to redo my layout a few times before I could get a continuous row of edging around it. It's complicated to explain but when you do this it will become clear and it works out. I bought 18 segments and have lots of edging left over. A extra bonus about this is that it looks really nice. I chose this mat because it looked like the best utilitarian solution but it dressed up the porch a lot more than I imagined. I ordered the blue. I think the other colors would look good, too, but I'm glad I got the blue. I am very pleased with this purchase. I initially ordered 2 packages and I was so pleased with it that I ordered another package to add to what I had. Read more
I actually bought these to use as support for a sagging memory foam mattress 2 packs were more than enough for both me and my wife's sides. They worked perfectly, instead of having to go buy a new mattress I used these and hopefully will get a few more years out of my mattress. They are wide enough and two interlocked are long enough to accommodate both of our body lengths 5' 6'' and 5' 11'', we used 3 sets of two (two packs) stacked on top of each other for 1 1/2 inches of extra support under the mattress. Awesome Product and a great price! Read more
It's pretty nice. Have a confession, I originally bought it to put under our swimming pool, thought it would make a nice cushy base, which it would work, it's a great product. However I was thinking of 24 foot squared not 24 square feet, lol. Not quite enough to fit under the pool. I could have ordered 3 more packs but that would have been too costly for me, so went back to sand under the pool and put these mats in my exercise room. I really like them there. I have plantar fasciitis and bunions and having these to work out on does seem to help with the pain. so two thumbs up, 5 stars, I like them. Read more
If you look at the mats, you'll see that one of the puzzle connectors in the middle of each side of each tile is not symmetrical. This means it can only fit with other tiles that have this same design. Worse yet, some of the pictures show the asymmetrical piece pointing clockwise, and some show counter-clockwise, so you don't know which way the pieces go. I have mats like this and needed to buy a few more, but my mats have the asymmetrical piece pointing the wrong way, so now I don't even know how to buy tiles that will fit with what I already have. The moral of the story is not to get involved with this terrible design in the first place. The only purpose that design serves is to lock you in so you have to keep buying their brand. You can't even flip the tile over, because one side has the grip-texture surface and the other side is smooth, so your floor will feel really patchy if you do that. This one feature ruins an otherwise decent mat for your home heavy bag or weight room set up. Read more
I used these tiles to cover my basement for dog training. They are easy to assemble and provide decent cushion, but my Great Dane has put some decent scratch marks in them and his toe nails sometimes pull the edges up just by running. I won't use them again when redoing the flooring, they just aren't tough enough for my size dog. Read more
