I was looking for a thinner footie type sock for some sneakers that fit snugly. I needed ankle socks with a little pull tab at the heel because I hate my socks sliding down into my shoe. I was wary of ordering thin socks because I didn’t know if they would tear easily or make my feet sweat because of the fabric. These turned out to be PERFECT! They are thin, don’t make my feet sweat, and they have a cross banding that feels like it supports your arches. They have the triangular area around the heels that fits your foot so much better. Their description is very informative and absolutely correct. I have a size 8 foot and ordered the size 9-11 as recommended. Excellent fit. They wash up well and I dried on low heat. They don’t slide down into my shoe at all. I barely know I have them on! I purchased them specifically to wear with sneakers that were too tight with thicker cushioned socks. I think they would work with my dress boots too so as to protect my feet without wearing stockings or dress socks. I prefer white socks on my sweaty pedis as the color dye doesn’t come off on my feet. The material of these socks is totally breathable and protects the insides of my shoes. Great find! Getting ready to travel on a multiple-day walking tour, I searched for the best socks. It needed to be lightweight, thin, and easy to wash and dry. These socks were PERFECT! These socks are soft after the first wash, comfortable and good to have on hand. They are lightweight and they fit comfortably. I will add this though—I think that the toe reinforcement could be a bit thicker so they last longer. Note: the fabric seems a bit rough right out of the packaging, but softens after washing. Comfortable fit. Are a no show with my sneakers that have a high back. Do not slip throughout the day. Just enough cushion, thicker in heel and toes but thinner of the top of the foot. Would buy again! Read more
