Not anywhere near as expensive as other brands without looking too cheap so it's a good value for money. The leather is soft on the skin but I'm not the biggest fan of the texture and it also wrinkles too easily anytime it's worn. Read more
Not a watch conessiuer by any stretch, but I do own several watches. I bought this watch (the brown band, black hardware variant) and the watch was as advertised. The band is a bit on the cheap side in terms of feel and look, but the watch is also apart of Skagen's price-conscious Signatur series, and Skagen themselves are a budget-friendly brand so, can't say I was too surprised. The face of the watch is great, love the coloring of the third hand and hour hands. So many times these pictures are touched up and the end product isn't what you saw online, this is not the case here. The watch itself keeps time well, of course. Better than my Fossil watches. All in all, a solid watch that looks casual at a glance and can impress upon discovery to the date, coworker, etc. Read more
This is an attractive watch, and I have enjoyed wearing it for about a year. It’s a nice size as well. However, I discovered after removing the backing to check the battery (it died last night), that it was impossible for me to replace the backing after removing it. I am a reasonably strong person and had the backing and internal components properly aligned with the mechanism, but neither I nor my friend could get the backing to snap back in place. At the price point at which this watch is sold, I would not expect to have to own any special tools or take the watch to a specialist to have the backing re-seated. This seems like an issue with the product design rather than user error or a single faulty piece. Read more
Alright, so this is a very nice watch, especially for the price. But full disclosure, I can't keep this. I specifically wanted a sweeping second hand watch, which this is not. (My fault not seeing "quartz", but also Amazon's fault for their terrible search filter, which probably includes reviews.) Another review described the watches second hand as "sweeping", which (admittedly foolishly on my part) gave me hope this was smooth movement. Its quartz movement, which is a per-second tick. (NOT high bph like 21600 or 28000 bph.) But, that being said, its very quiet, even with my very sensitive hearing. I can barely hear it at 5 inches away in a quiet room. I'm sure it would be inaudible at 20 inches down by my side at night when sleeping. Now, I'm not a shnob for quality, but another review said "the second hand is misaligned with the watchface" and this is true. Mine is too. (Check photo.) I personally could live with it, but it would be a bit annoying for actual accurate countdown timing. The leather band is nice. It's 20mm. It has a tool-less release. It's real leather, sealed thickly to a smooth polish, not fuzzy with hairs. The metal clasp is brushed metal, black. Nice touch. The case is 7mm thin. Not thick at all, something I prefer. In fact, the whole reason I bought this was the thin case, as I slide my arms in tight spaces often and absolutely HATE (with a passion) thick watches and arm bands that get caught. So, including the crown, I measured 41mm. Without, it's about 39mm. Top to bottom is 46mm (from the top pair of rod-holders to the bottom pair). The leather bands are 2.5mm thick. Total watch length (excluding the clasp) is 9.5", or 235mm. There are two band-holder loops for the excess band. The one nearest to the clasp is affixed to the band and does not move. The second one is loose and slides along the band. There are 10 notch holes in the band. The lume (glow in the dark) is okay I guess. It's better than nothing. Personally, I don't understand the point of passive glow-in-the-dark lumes on a battery-powered watch, since the lume charge only last like 15-20 minutes, even with intense light. Like seriously, why aren't all watched lit with tritium? It's not even that expensive, like $10-15 for a few indicators. Also, coming from a smartwatch with tilt-to-brighten, these short-lived lumes are just painfully annoying. Any watch I get will get the tritium treatment. (Mixglo sells wide varieties of shapes.) Lastly, the glass seems to have a tiny bit dusty, and I think it's on the inside. Again, not a shnob, I couldnt care less. Doesnt really affect my ability to glance at the time. But, if this is brand new (it is not, clearly been opened before), why's it dirty? I wouldn't mind taking it apart and cleaning it, but I know most other people are not willing to clean it, which is unacceptable by their standard. So anyways, it's a lovely watch, minus those imperfections. I would keep it, but I've got some odd (lets be honest: unfair) stringently specific requirements for my time-pieces. Read more

This is great watch at this price, especially when compared to some of the similarly-priced, but low-grade watch brands being hyped on social media. With a 40mm case and a 46 mm lug-to-lug length, it fits comfortably on small-to-medium wrists (like mine). The band is easily detachable using a simple spring-loaded catch on the end of each strap, so you could swap out other 20mm bands of this type for different occasions. The watch back can be removed without any special tools and uses a standard SR621 battery. Although I didn’t see it mentioned anywhere here on Amazon, the dial markers and hands are luminescent. It arrived in a minimalistic, eco-friendly gift box that fits the style of the watch. Overall, I really like it. Looks clean and simple, perfect for a casual day out, and fits comfortably once the leather has had a chance to break in. Read more
