I cannot recommend this board and SkateXS highly enough. After doing a lot of research on what board would be best for an aspiring Female Tony Hawk (y 5 years old) I came across SkateXS. Their boards were well priced, with great trucks and sized right for children - and given that my daughters second life is unicorns WIN. The pink sandpaper is tacky and I cant wait to see my daughter ripping it up. I ordered a board via amazon market place. A day later I realized that the delivery date would miss my daughters birthday. Worried I emailed SkateXS who promptly moved my daughters board to the front of the assembly line and then couriered it express at their expense. When I asked to pay for the difference they replied "No worries Luke! Always happy to do a little extra when a birthday is involved!" Oh and they put a happy birthday card in the box with the board! Assuming my daughter takes to boarding I will order every size of board from these guys as she grows. Amazing service and an amazing product. Read more
Bearings aren’t the best, but that is a good thing for my 6 year old because it keeps her moving slower and makes it easier to keep on going without giving up. Perfect size and the rest of the components are great. The board is solid too. Keeps my daughter more interested. Her friend got a cheap plastic board and gave up after a week. A REALLY beautiful skateboard! I had a cheapie skateboard for my 7 yr old but when she started showing more interest, I wanted to upgrade. I thought this board was really expensive but when I got it, it was such a high quality that I felt it matched the price. It came very nicely packaged. The website had a great guide for selecting the right size for my daughter. I didn't even know there were skateboard sizes! And I didn't realize the cheapie ones were so unsafe. This skateboard came ready to roll! It is fantastic quality and my 5 year old loves it! The wheels roll so smoothly and it is not floppy like a cheap kids skateboard. Really glad we got a "real" board. She gets all pads and helmet on and is gaining confidence and balance. The skateboard wasn't supposed to be ready by Christmas, but it was, and included a nice, handwritten note. Came with a little bonus of cool stickers and child-size bracelet. Highly recommend! My girl wanted a skateboard but not like the penny boards. Due to her height and weight, all the boards we could find were too big. Lucky for us we found Skatexs in Amazon and the options and details of the board made her fall in love with the product.
