Attractive, comfortable shoe that lives up to its step-in name by being simple to take on and off. This shoe has become a fall and early winter wardrobe staple for me, and looks great with jeans and sweaters. Lightweight and true to size, these shoes are comfortable for everyday walking and standing. I have worn them to concerts and comfortably stood for several hours. These shoes have been in my rotation several months now and they still look great! No obvious wear and the suede finish easily wipes clean. I was initially skeptical about Skechers step-in shoes but have become an enthusiastic convert after purchasing a pair of their step-in sandals last summer. I have had a problem with inconsistent sizing from Sketchers. Therefore, I purchased these shoes a half size larger than usual. They fit great. They seem to have a wider than average toe well (which works great for me) and the larger size does not cause any slippage, specifically in the heel. So I would say the recommended size runs a little small, especially as these shoes will probably be worn with thicker sox. The pair I received was significantly lighter in color than I expected from the photos. A little disappointing, but still a perfectly fine color for winter shoes/boots. The positives are great fit, very comfortable, water resistant. Provides good support laterally and in the arches. No foot, knee or back pain when breaking them in. Not overly heavy. It hasn't been cold enough to judge warmth, but they seem promising in that area too. Easily slip on and off. Price (on sale) was decent for light hikers/daily walkers. Note that there really isn't any ankle support, so not a long range hiker. Overall, a very nice shoe. Read more
Very comfortable and I love that that I can just slip them on and off! They are scuff resistant and have great traction too! The size was about 1/2 size small so think about getting some a little larger than you normally would. But these are pretty good looking little booties and warm as well! Read more

Very comfortable for the whole day. Size certainly didn’t run big. I’m usually an 8.5-9 and got the 9 after reading other reviews. The 9 fits with regular socks, but a heavy sock would definitely be too snug. The reason I only gave 4⭐️ is that Skechers needs to work on the aesthetics of its fake leather. It looks really fake, which I am dissatisfied by, but I like the style otherwise, plus they’re so comfy that I am keeping them. (Note that I did actually return a different style Skechers shoe last summer (to a different vendor) solely due to the fake leather not hitting the mark aesthetically. And I have another loafer style that I should have returned for the same reason because I probably will never wear them. Skechers - please improve in this area. Love these shoes! I ordered a half size bigger just in case and I'm glad I did. They fit perfectly, look exactly like the pictures and are super comfortable right away.
