I ordered the Skechers women's 8-pack Work Collection Low Cut socks in black to wear with my size 6-1/2 Brooks sneakers and they are an excellent fit. They also come in a variety pack with white, grey, and black. I chose the Low Cut variety for use with shorts and capris. I prefer not to have much sock showing when wearing anything shorter than full-length pants. The height of the socks is equal to the tongue of my shoes in the front and barely covers my ankle bone on the sides. I love how the thickness of the cushioned bottom of the socks makes my shoes feel more comfortable. It really helps to reduce soreness and fatigue when I am on my feet a lot. The cushioning extends up and over the top of the toes and up the heel. It ends directly under the elastic band at the top of the socks. The arch is not cushioned. Instead, it has extra elasticity that provides some arch support. The elasticity extends around the entire foot. On the top of the sock, ventilated mesh on either side of the elastic arch band offers breathability. The low cut ankle band is thick and has increased elasticity to keep it in place. I love how well the socks form to my feet, ensuring they don't slip around. I also purchased the Skechers Work Collection socks in high quarter cut, which I wear with full-length pants. I expected the two styles to be identical, with the exception of the height. I was wrong. The cushioning appears to be the same placement (with a different look), but the elastic band at the arch is different. The elastic arch on the high quarter sock is made up of over 70 bands, whereas the elastic arch on the low cut socks is a solid material. The high quarter socks offer better arch support, in my opinion. I wish the low cut socks had used the same banded arch support that the high quarter crew socks used. At the current price of $14.08, each pair of socks costs just $1.76. I think they are a great value at the current price. Read more

These socks are perfect for long days on my feet. They have just the right amount of cushioning in the heel and toe to keep things comfortable without feeling bulky. I really like the snug fit — they don’t slide around or bunch up, and the elastic arch band adds nice support. They’re breathable, soft, and feel great inside sneakers or work shoes. The value is amazing for an 8-pack, and the simple colors make them easy to pair with anything. I’ve already washed them a few times and they’ve held up great. These socks are cushy in the right spots. They are not too thick, but are thicker than some sports socks. It is nice to get a pack of socks that are all black and not black, gray, white, etc. Right away, one can feel the comfort, especially in the heel. They have an arch support band between the cushioned heel and toe box. $13.50 for 8 pairs of socks is a great deal. Read more
