Ski Mask Fleece Balaclava Windproof Face Mask Winter Warm Neck Cover Hat Hood for Men Women

Got this as part of my prep for the winter storm “Fern”. We live in central TX and got both freezing rain as well as sleet/snow. We kept our livestock in the barn, but had to walk to the barn twice a day to muck stalls and make sure the animals had hay and water as well as feed. This balaclava was perfect! It was so warm and cozy - the perfect foil for all the freezing cold wind. It is well made, generous in size, has pull strings to tighten around the face so you can adjust and the part that covers your nose is easy to push down as well if needed. My new balaclava is warm and soft and I really love it. Even in the wind, it stays around my face because it has ties to tighten it but I wouldn't recommend it for being in the rain and wet snow. The fabric is plushy fleece. It's perfect for sleeping in the tent and cabin to keep head and neck warm, though, on cold winter nights. The neck part, the gaiter, tucks easily into the top of my sweaters, too, for keeping out the cold. I like mine. The nose covering part doesn't cover the nose, though it does cover the mouth well. Soft and warm! I purchased an Oralay coat. The hood didn't have a mechanism to cinch it down leaving my neck exposed. The tube gaiters were not long enough and they did stay in place. This balaclava checks all the boxes. Able to cinch down, fits under the bulky jacket hood, keeps neck and face covered. Very comfortable, very plush. Been wearing it to stay warm at the dog park. Purchased a second one so one can be in the wash and the second one is good to go. Read more

This is a good product. It keeps my head warm outside, blocks the wind pretty good, and doesn't Gert too hot indoors. It is comfortable, and should work well for my purposes. It fits well, not too loose, and not too snug. One thing I should mention that the female model in the photographs must be rather petite with a small head. You are not going to get much inside the hood. (I were a thin knit cap, which is about all it can take. I'm going to keep it, and may buy another to rotate with. Read more

I put this on immediately after receiving it. I am definitely going back to order more in different colors. The colors are beautiful. Deep rich colors. The fit is perfect. I have a larger head and this fits great with extra room. Easy to wear eye glasses with it. The thickness of the material is nice. Not bulky but thick enough to provide significant warmth.
