Update... received replacement, thankfully no blood, but this jacket is not a winter jacket unless you have tons of layers underneath and the stitching is just atrocios. You can see from the pics of the stitching and how you can see through the jacket. I just tried it out this morning we're getting a tad of snow and the wind is only 7mph and the temp is 20 feels like 14...I can feel it through the jacket, especially on my bum, even though the jacket goes past my bum. For reference I'm 5'5" 220 lbs, I love baggy clothes and jackets so if I want to add layers I can and still be comfortable, and I'm wearing thermals underneath my jogging pants today and I can feel the cold on my bum through the jacket. I have a jacket from 2010, it's the best winter coat and it's still in perfect condition, the only reason I bought a new jacket was because my Son is always like"mom why don't you buy yourself a new coat?" My jacket from 2010 is so perfect and has kept me not just warm but almost too warm even when it's -20 degrees outside with only a tshirt on under it, I've washed it who knows how many times and it's still good as new. This one however is propably never going to be worn again, unless I put my bib snowpants on with like 4 layers under it, and even then I don't think it's going to be waterproof from the heavy snow we often get. Wish I could return it and get my money back, but because I've washed it and worn it for like 10 minutes, I don't feel comfortable doing this...some people however do this, but not me.
