This craft is cute. My 6 yo granddaughter had a blast coloring the sponges and then adding water to puff them up. My only issue was the water pens. I could not get them to open. Several adults tried to open them and they wouldn’t twist. I happened to have plastic pipettes that worked great. Read more

My (almost 10 year old) granddaughter and I used these tonight for the first time and we both loved them! Another granddaughter (22 months old) came in while we were working on them and she jumped right in my lap and played, too. When a few of my other grandkids saw the finished product, they wanted to schedule a date to come make some of their own, too. I ordered 5 more boxes tonight!!! They’re a huge hit! And the drawings are super cute! **The only 2 negatives I came up with: I wish the water pens held more water and that there were more keychains. The quality of the keychains is great! This is an excellent craft for the 4 plus crowd, gave them to my four year old grand daughter Christmas Eve. They were immediately opened and with very minor adult involvement she was busy working. This was a fun and cute activity to do with my 8 year old. You color them with the provided markers then add water so that they puff up. They do get pretty big and puffy. It was not messy at all.
