I’ve owned a lot of gaming headsets over the years, and I honestly didn’t expect the Skullcandy Crusher 720 to blow me away like this. I loved my PLYR series, but jeezzz… the bass on these is unreal. I’ve had Beats Studios, and these hit wayy harder and that’s saying something…especially for a gaming headset!?! What really shocked me is that they’re not just great for gaming; I’d 100% wear these as everyday music headphones. You have to try it to fully understand / feel the amount of bass these truly have. Comfort and Fit: These fit my head perfectly. The ear cups are nice and soft, they are padded with memory foam. They rotate left/right and also tilt up/down, so it doesn’t matter if your head is big or small… they just fit comfortably. I don’t have that dreadful gap on the lower part of the ear cup like other gaming headsets. I can play for hours without my neck/head hurting like with other bulky headsets. The suspension headband helps evenly distribute the weight of the headset on the whole top part of the head vs to a point like other headsets. The noise isolation is crazy. I can have a ceiling fan blasting, dogs barking and my buddies won’t hear any of it. Sound & Gaming Experience: Battlefield 6 honestly feels like a completely different game with these on. The bass slider is a lifesaver. I can turn it down for explosions or crank it up for listening to music. I would honestly feel bad if a helicopter or jet crashes next to you in game with the bass at 100%, you’ll definitely feel it a “little” WAYY TOOO much LOL. I’ve used Turtle Beach, Logitech, SteelSeries, RIG, Astro, and Razer headsets… None of them have matched the mix of comfort, build quality, sound, and insane bass that these have. One thing worth mentioning is that if you don’t like bass just turn it down or off. I play games at around 30% on the knob, sometimes I do mess around for a second and max it lol. Software: The EQ software is the best I’ve used. Super straightforward yet allows for fine tuning around specific frequencies, and you can dial in exactly how you want your game or music to sound. I like that you can also make and save custom profiles. If you aren’t technical or just want a quick equalizer change they have quick presets. Microphone: The mic is good, not perfect. Still better than most gaming headsets I’ve tried. It says 48,000kHz mic quality on Windows, which is impressive, and while I’m still trying to figure out how to “tune” it if possible, my voice is still clear and easy to understand. The AI noise suppression is crazy, but I think this system tries to work even if noise is very minimal making it sound a little lesser quality (I’m comparing to Logitech A20x Astros 48,000kHz Microphone). My friends say they don’t hear any background noise now. I’m sure I can find a setting on either this headset or discord to help me. Any tips on this appreciated. Bottom Line: I love this headset. For the price, nothing else I’ve tried came close. Especially if you can get this on discount before Christmas! I was a hyper x fan for years due to the comfortability, sound quality, and pricepoint, but i have no regrets seitching to this headset. Safe to say I LOVE this headset. My buddy had a cheap headset in 2012 with similar vibration tech, and I wanted something similar ever since. Id never tested open back headsets so I was skeptical at first, but the natural sound is so appealing, especially when paired with the thx mode. The bass is nasty as hell, I play alot of drifting games so the heavy bass really gets me in the zone, but its also very immersive when playing without music. At first it would give me a bit of a headache past 50%, but this is no longer an issue after getting used to it. Plus, the ability to knob it on the fly is awesome. Ive heard from video reviews that it doesnt reach the full spectrum of bass, but to be honest the only tones that dont come across well are the lowest. Even still, the vibration frequency mimics the bass well enough that I cant really tell. Basically every feature from volume control to thx mode is accessable through the on board controls, but the app definitely helps with fine tuning, especially with the custom EQ settings and the thx speaker distance. About the only con is a minor one, being that the bass can eat up the battery power given that there are physical vibration motors supplementing the bass, but if given a portable charger or even a long cable, this issue is incredibly minute. Holy smokes the bass is nuts. Let a bunch of friends and family members try it, and myself and everyone else physically shuddered. It's a different experience completely I don't think you can mentally prepare for it without feeling it and know what's coming. It feels, so good. Something I've noticed is that the bass reaches max feeling around 40-50% and turning up the volume after that just turns up the non bass components with the crusher bass wheel turned all the way up. Speaking of the wheel that controls the crusher bass, I find it is a much, much, smaller range of movement than I thought, the wheel only moves about 40° but it's super sensitive, also I find if you move a decent amount the wheel falls a bit as I adjust it every about 30 minutes, probably like 5-10° Mic quality is super clear, mute button sucks tho hard to use the mute button, maybe it will wear in and make it easier to use later all. For now I'll use toggle mute options on keyboard, no biggie. Sound leakage is almost insane as the bass is, sound leakage after ~40% volume. This is a gaming headset though, so not an out in public headphone just something to have in mind. The USB connection thing works really well, easy to connect. Sound quality is amazing, bass is amazing, good product overall if you're ok with spending the medium to high price tag. Read more

Love it great sound and that bass is real killer if you like that. Does a lot of things has a lot of buttons and setting and even more if you get the app. Mic is stiff you cannot really adjust it. It works real good for gaming and watching a show or movie, Fits really well on my head no sweating in ears. Was worth the price for me. Read more
