This thing is perfect! I put it in the cup holder by the driver's seat in my van. It is connected to a 100AH Mighty Max battery in the rear and a Renogy solar panel on the top. This hub powers all my daily camping gadgets. I keep three main devices plugged into it--oscillating fan for the dog, swamp cooler in the cargo area, and small Dometic electric cooler. I love having the buttons at hand to turn on/off any of the devices at any time so I don't have to get out and crawl around the van and pull plugs. It also shows me a constant readout of my voltage so I don't run my system down. I just bought a second one to keep as a backup in case anything happens to this one. I HAVE IT PLUGGED INTO ANOTHER 3 PORT DEVICE THAT'S SWITCHED ALSO SO i WON'T HAVE TO KEEP PLUGGING/UNPLUGGING IT. I LIKE THE FACT THAT EACH PORT IS SWITCHED. It works great. There is no adjustment for the size of the cup holder so be prepared. It wobbles around in mine so I wrapped a cloth around it to try and steady it. It's well made, except for that. If you are not sure of the size of your cup holder, or it's an older one with worn out gussets like mine, I would advise spending a few more dollars and getting one with side adjustments. It still gets 5 stars for workmanship and overall usability. Cosmetically it looks professional and the blue lights are pleasing without blasting the entire interior (try saying that aloud 5 times) of the vehicle. Read more
The media could not be loaded. I gave it a four-star because, so far, it's working, but I'm going to use it for a week or so and see how it works. I hope it does not mess up my socket because my other socket is messed up; that's the reason why I bought it. It was a fast delivery and easy installation; it's not as bright where I can see the numbers, especially when it's sunny. And it's charging so far, so that's a plus; it connected very quickly, but my only problem is the size of the cigarette port. I don't know if it's too small or my cigarette port is too big. The quality of it is very slick, and it looks like a cup holder, which I thought was a good idea. I'm just worried about the first socket because the size is too small. I had to do a long road trip, and wanted to have a device that allow me to connect all my on-board electronics at once (phone charger, dash-cam...etc). This worked perfectly, without noticing any plus being loose in it while plugged or while driving. LOVE the individual button for each port too ! I was driving a 2004 Honda Civic, and the device fitted just nicely inside the cup holder, may be with some space still around it, but not enough space that it will bounce around while driving though. I got it to hook my gps and dash cam in my car. I had got another kind and it hit the gear shift. This one works great, it is out of the way of the gear shift. It also looks great and expensive in the cup holder. I would highly recommend this product. Read more
Love this! I’ve had it for a few months and so far so good. I haven’t had any issues with it. I like how it fits into my cup holder. It makes it easier to access and to use then other multi charges I have owned in the past. I had no where to put my other ones, They kinda just was placed on my seat or on the floor which was really annoying. Only downfall is that I lose a cup holder, especially if my passenger has a drink but it’s worth it. I use this to charge my dash cam, cellphone and GPS, all at the same time. The dash cam has to be plugged in all the time for it to work so I end up losing my cigs outlet and can’t charge anything else. We all know a GPS battery life isn’t long either. So this is very useful and affordable. I like how the part that goes into the cig lighter has usb outlets too. I’ve also used this for a portable air pump to blow up my fishing raft. I ordered this because there are times when I am charging multiple devices while I travel, for instance my dash camera, my cell phone, and my GPS unit. It does the job, my only complaint is that the sockets seem a tiny bit loose. When I plug things into it, sometimes they actually aren't charging so I have to remember to double check everything I plug into it. A small price to pay for the convenience. Read more
