These have been a surprisingly good pair of sleep earbuds for side sleeping. The biggest reason they work for me is the low-profile/flat design—they don’t stick out past my ears, so I’m not getting that pillow pressure pain I sometimes get with AirPods Pro 2. What I love: Side-sleeper friendly: They sit close to the ear, so I can lie on my side without waking up with an aching ear from pressure. Shockingly loud for the size: Because they sit right near the ear canal, they get plenty loud even at low volume (I use ~25%, and it’s more than enough). Great for podcasts/audiobooks: Voices come through clearly enough for sleep listening. Stable wired-style reliability (but wireless): No connection issues while listening; it’s been consistent for me. Sound quality (set expectations): These are not “audiophile” earbuds. For music, the sound can be a bit muddy, especially compared to higher-end IEMs or premium earbuds. For spoken-word content, they’re totally fine. Battery & charging (real-world): I’m easily getting 4+ hours when listening at lower volume. Charging is straightforward, and the earbuds are designed for short charge cycles (about 1.5 hours for a full charge). The case provides multiple top-ups, which is convenient if you use them nightly. Other practical details: Bluetooth is modern and stable (Bluetooth 5.4). IPX5 water resistance is a nice bonus for sweat/cleanup situations. Range is typical for earbuds (around 10m line-of-sight). It won't matter, as my phone will be on the nightstand next to me. After falling asleep with earbuds in that practically poke my brain when I roll over, I decided to give these mini earbuds a try, and I'm glad I did! I was surprised at how small they really are, they nestle nicely in my ears and I can lay directly on them and barely feel them. They come with 3 sets of different ear gel sizes and feel secure, if you have the right size on there. They look like they would be compatible with memory foam ones, which I plan to swap them out for due to my sensory issues. They didn't leave any raw/sore marks in my ears, or rub funny, which I was really grateful for. I don't like wearing earplugs that block 100% of noise to sleep, because I need to be aware of my surroundings. I work weird hours and tend to do most of my sleeping from 3am-11am. Obviously I can't expect the world to be silent just because I'm sleeping, so I was looking for a solution to basic "suburban noise" that I could stand to use nightly. The battery life is shorter than other earbuds because of the limited space/size for the battery. The louder volume you use, the faster they drain, but they still block sound decently when they're not playing anything. I'm no audiophile, but the sound quality is decent and clear for my audiobooks. Even on low/ medium volume they block out most traffic and the large foxhound my neighbor has, who likes to sing the song of his people every *single* morning (he's such a good boy, but foxhounds are LOUD.) I ordered these because I am a solid side sleeper and thought that these would be ideal so that I could listen to calming sounds without interrupting my husband. Unfortunately, right out of the box these felt ultra cheap and very plasticky. They are so hard that they actually hurt my ears. Sound isn't all that great either. These sleep earbuds have been a game-changer for my nighttime routine in many ways. I've woken up multiple times to find they didn't charge overnight, which is really annoying when you're counting on them to be fully charged overnight. I now have to double-check that they're seated correctly. If they fix the charging case design, these would easily be 5 stars.
