These earbuds can be used for sleeping, but they can also be used during waking hours as well. They have pretty good sound, and they are quite comfortable. The specific reason these ear buds work for sleep is because they are comfortable even when I lay on the side of my head. Other ear buds put pressure on my skull bone on the inside of my ears and almost immediately become uncomfortable. On the other hand, these ear buds feel fine when I lay on my side. These are quite small, I’ve always struggled with in ear buds causing pain but these are quite comfy. Using them while laying is somewhat manageable though sleeping on my side in them will end up not working for me, I do think my ears are more sensitive and get sore if I sleep on my side regardless of earbuds or not. Definitely not noise blocking but I prefer that, I like to hear the ambient noises of my home. Big fan of them in general though they don’t play music all that well, I like a heavy bass and those sounds are completely lost with these earbuds, sounds almost wrong but these would be perfect for podcasts, books, lectures, etc. I feel they are a good value in general and if they could fix the stereo sound/bass issue, they would be all the stars. Like anyone else browsing for sleepbuds, I enjoy listening to spooky podcasts while I sleep. Until now, I've been using a mix of AirPods, AirPod clones, and Tozo NC9s. The AirPods always end up hurting my ears if I roll over in my sleep, and the Tozo buds stick out far enough to fall out. Once I saw that sleepbuds were a thing, I've been wanting to try a pair, but the cost is a little high for something that may not be better. Enter Hulaed! The first thing you're going to notice is that the buds and the case are small, making them easily portable. The buds fit my average-sized ears perfectly and haven't fallen out or caused any pain. The sound quality is great for podcasts, featuring clear dialogue with a nice level of bass. The buds also feature touch controls that make it easy to control your nighttime listening without having to turn your cellphone on. So far, I've had a podcast still going when I woke up in the morning, so the advertised battery life is correct. The quality of the buds exceeds the price charged for these. I'm not sold on these but will update review if my experience over time changes: Pro: - lightweight and low profile, able to sleep on side without issue. - compact case with visible charge % on inside display - tight fitting which blocks ambient sound - tap 5 times quickly in a row to put them in sleep mode so touching them won't change any settings. - good sound for audiobook or sleep story. Cons: - not especially comfortable to wear all night. My ears were a little sore and itchy about halfway through the night - if I try to listen to regular music, it is very light on bass and seems mis-mixed. - hard to keep both buds in sync with each other and connected to phone. I have had to take them off and reset their sync to each other several times already in just the first couple of uses. Incredibly surprised. I bought some Bose in ear buds not long ago because my husband snores so loudly. They did drown out the sound, when they worked. They always cut in and out. These do not cut out at all! They are tiny so they fit in my ears so much better as well, no cramming them in and praying they stay put. These go in easily and stay in through my workouts. At the gym, they tune out the tvs, music and chatter pretty well so I just hear my music. Haven't tried them for sleep yet, for the snoring, but I feel like they'll be easier to sleep than the others. The case is tiny is my only concern so I need to get something bigger to put it in for my purse/gym so I don't lose them. Battery life is good, was still at 100 after my hour gym session. These are great for the price instead of paying $300 for buds that do the same or less. Easy to carry around, great sound quality, paired easily to my Android. I really like them! Read more
