We purchased these bags for our daughter's dance recital costumes. We were able to get all the necessary recital accessories and the costume in these with no problem. The bags are super long, way longer than what I realized and really too long for our 8yr olds costumes, but that's my fault for not paying attention to the size better. The zipper pockets are very generous - I was even able to put a pair of her Nike tennnis shoes in 1 of the pockets and it still zipped. Color me impressed. Read more

I love using these for recital as well as long term storage. The multiple pockets make it great for keeping shoes, tights, hairpieces, program, name card, spare makeup/hair supplies all seperate from costume and each other. Off the floor, easy to see. The pockets are a game changer, theres always so much wasted space at the bottom of a garment bag, this makes such great use of that space! And you can still fold it in half and carry it in and out by the handles because the pockets are individually zippered, nothing can really roll around too much and get messed up like if it was just loose in the bottom of one big zippered bag. Now that she's bigger and has more than one costume per recital I can easily keep 2 costumes in one bag and everything is in one place for costume change and we don't need to be in the way of the big girls who have even more changes. I love these and have 12 of them. They have been great for keeping my costumes together. I do wish they had a shoe pocket. The zipper is strong and the plastic is thick. Fabric is pretty durable too. If you need more than 1 hanger, it gets tricky to hang but does it's job. Only my longest cloaks have to fold to fit. Read more
