I've tried a lot of gun oils and lubes over the years, but Slip 2000 has quickly become my go-to for everything from pistols to ARs. The quality is top-notch – it's a synthetic formula that stays where you put it, doesn't gum up, and holds up through hundreds of rounds without breaking down or attracting much dirt. Value is excellent too. A little goes a long way (I've been using the same 4oz bottle for months with plenty left), and at the price point, it's cheaper per use than many name-brand options that don't perform as well. Easy to apply, no strong odor, doesn't migrate everywhere like some thinner oils, and it leaves a nice slick film that reduces friction noticeably. My guns run smoother and stay cleaner longer. If you're looking for a high-quality, all-in-one solution that actually delivers, Slip 2000 is worth every penny. Highly recommend – five stars all the way! Read more

It's good lube for the critical wear parts. Hammer, trigger lands, safety pivot pin, grip safety, slide stop and saftey detent pins, slide lock pin, locking lugs, mag release, barrel link pin, barrel bushing, recoil spring plug (Heck I even rub some on the recoil spring and guide). Run some down your slide rails and you're ready to re-assemble. I'm old, I'm a 1911 freak ( as if you haven't guessed ) so there you have it. GET SOME! Read more

Let me tell you about "Slip 2000 Gun Lube" – this stuff isn't just lube, it’s the secret sauce of your range day. Before using Slip 2000, my 1911 was dry, clacking, and cycled rougher than a backwoods Jeep ride in a thunderstorm. Now? She is sliding smoother than dad jokes at a BBQ. Application is easier than finding empty brass at a public range. Just one dab and your firearm will be firing freer than an old shared Netflix password. Protection-wise, this stuff repels rust, dust, and bad decisions. I dropped her, then kicked her straight tinto a puddle, picked it up, spit on it and it practically dried itself off out of respect for the lube. I even used it on my neighbors squeaky gate door and now they think I’m apart of the maintenance plan. Bottom line: If you love your gun, or just want to make your other lube jealous, grab a bottle Slip 2000 Warning: product may cause excessive fondling of your own firearms. Read more

I use SLIP 2000 on all my firearms that require this sort of product, modern or historic. From the standpoint of function, it's great. I've had zero issues related to lubrication across many rifles and pistols and through thousands of rounds. It's easy to apply, it flows nicely, and there's little to no odor. It cleans up easily, and isn't toxic, so I have no worry about getting it on my hands, or using it in the house. Their grease is on my historic rifles that require grease, and I use their cleaning products almost exclusively. Top notch products from a top notch company. Read more

Solid Oil/Lube for your 2A I used it on a Canik TTI (was working just fine btw) cause it had been used and prolly about 1-2k rounds went through it, it had no oil inside at all so i got this. Put some on the places that were bone dry and it instantly did what I expected. It has great value imo because you get 2 bottles of this stuff and the little needle is great for pin point delivery in those places that need it. I don't know if it's "the best" or not, no clue about that but based on what I've seen from it so far it delivered and even helped break up all that gunk and crud buildup too. Made it easier to remove all that old gunk from the firearm Read more

I saw a how to clean your gun video. I noticed how easy the metal syringe made it when applying it to their gun. So i wanted to give it a try. I also saw it does all 3 (clean/lube/protect) which was a win for me as well. I shot around 400 rounds of FMJ 9mm through my SIG. It was pretty disgusting. It applied easily, seemed to remove a lot of the gunk built up. I was able to wipe away the majority of carbon with a patch, only had to scrub off a couple caked on pieces (partially left over from previous range visit), but it all came off. The oil seemed to coat well. I won't know for sure till I go back to the range and see if there are any issues. For the price, metal syringe and the 2 bottles (sm and lg), I feel it was a fair price. It also appeared to have no odor, which was the main reason I was using Shooter's Lube prior. I do recommend giving it a try especially if the Hoppes #9 makes the wifey mad lol. Read more
