Great product for mounting SSD drives. I mounted a Crucial X9 on a HDHomeRun streaming system. The base of the Slipdrive is thick plastic. I used tin snips to trim it back to the opening of the pocket. The adhesive back is very strong you will need to be careful when peeling the paper cover off to make sure you don’t remove the adhesive layer. The elastic pocket is quite expandable and strong. You might be able to squeeze a couple Sandisk SSD’s in one pouch. Read more
No fear of it coming off, this this is on there solidly. I purchased for a Sandisk Extreme nvme drive, and it fits nice and snug, but putting the cable in there as well makes me worry that its going to stretch a bit too much over time. Since I only put the drive in there when I'm heading to a coffee shop, I don't think i'll be seeing that over-stretch happen any time soon. Hope the next iteration has a strap or flap that could velcro close... just EXTRA safety. Also a opening on the "bottom" of it, so that we can run the cable out that way as an option. Think very carefully about what port you are going to be using, else you will have a long cable dangling about. Read more
