Customers find the plug stopper works well and appreciate its ability to add up to 4 inches of water depth, allowing them to submerge their whole body.

I was skeptical at first, because I thought it was too good to be true. But as you can see, my tub is filled almost to the rim and i hasn't drained at all!! I've only tried it once, so I don't know how it will be in the long run, but it's holding up very well at the moment! Those few inches truly make a difference when you're taking a bath! Read more

This works pretty well, however it’s not quite right for my application. It has multiple suction cups around the outer rim that attach it to the tub. There are also 2 seals, one outer and one inner for double leak protection. Even with both, it will let a little water get by, but no where near enough to disturb your soak. This is best for an overflow that you have solid porcelain that fully surrounds the overflow. I have a clawfoot tub that has the tub fill resting up against the overflow at the top of it. So I can’t get 360 degree seal. Even with that set back, it does its job! Read more
When I unpacked this item, I discovered it was rubbery with a lot of little suction cups molded in. I tried it out that evening and it worked perfectly. What a delightful surprise! It beat the **** out of some other product that I ended up discarding. Highly recommended. Read more
Simple and easy fix to enjoy a deeper bath. Works well. Doesn't leak. Has a hole at the top to prevent overflow since the waterline is flush with the top of the tub. Read more
Okay. This item works but I flooded my bathroom. It fits but you must keep an eye on the water. The color is nice. The size is large. Read more
The media could not be loaded. fortunate to run across this item randomly perhaps because of my purchase of so many bags of teals Epson salts?!? I have a 77 y/o friend who takes a tub bath daily. Having just moved from a home and master bath with a Kohler 100 year anniversary bath tub with 24 karat gold plated hardware and red enamel for the tub she never had to worry about water overflow. In her new garden home she has a tub similar to a traditional tub and was finding that even as a petite woman water would escape either through the overflow valve when she submerged completely or at times the water would overflow the sides of her tub. When I saw this item on Amazon I thought what a cool idea because it’s kind of a battle if your water that you have gotten to the right temperature and you’ve got Epson salts or sometimes I prefer vita bath and it’s all going through the overflow valve or over the edge of the tub and the temperature of the existing water then is lowering so I then would find myself turning the hot water back on and that seemed like a waste on many levels. For Christmas I bought her one and I bought one for myself. She raves about hers and I know that I love mine and it’s made the whole management of water temperature and water conservation and water integrity so much easier to keep constant and efficient. The suction power is certainly more than adequate, I have not ever experienced nor has my friend mentioned it having come off the tub surface and it’s very easy to pull off and I just run mine through the dishwasher or you can put it to the clothes washer or just clean it by hand using some spray cleaner. It doesn’t leave a ring of dirt in anyway and in general it’s a simple apparatus that provides 2 to 3 inches approximately of additional hot water during my bath, Who would’ve thought two or 3 inches of additional water would make such a difference but for me it does. I also like that the overflow valve or opening at the top of the rubber cover is going to catch any water that might overflow the sides of the tub and onto the floor. On one occasion, there is room for play with the placement of the suction cups I attached the section cups as high as Possible while still covering the built-in overflow valve and my spouse who was in the basement doing laundry underneath the tub so water coming through the floor of the bathroom so it is possible to place it too high but that was a one time occurrence and I learn my lesson so I don’t push it to the max any longer because I’m not ready to tear out this bathroom yet. So if you’ve got a standard size tub if there is such a thing, as I mention mine is out of circa 1979 tub I don’t know the measurements but I’m not sure it really matters because your experience is based on your body size and the size of your own tub so you’ll just have to play with it to find that place of equilibrium between keeping the hot water in the tub, keeping the hot water in the tub and allowing the overflow to flow through the opening at the top of the suction cup cover so that it flows out of the standard overflow valve or you can create that infinity pool you’ve always wanted! Easy to do that by just letting the water flow over the edge of the tub until your spouse comes up and screams at you! Each one is an exciting option and I hope should you choose to make a five dollar investment in this item you will receive whatever you’ve paid back 100 fold by having less variables related to water temperature and stress less bathtime all to yourself for many years to come! Buy one of these. There are a few things in life are five dollars I have found to solve as many problems as this item, I should put a disclaimer, in this home comfort category. A pint of Ben & Jerry’s on sale is generally less than five dollars and I also enjoy that very much. I’ve also found really good beer available for less than five dollars and I’ve enjoyed that as well but both of those are short-lived and this apparatus lives on and on and on and is worth every penny! I’ve also learned in making my first Amazon video attached with this review that my tub really needs to be recaulked! It’s really embarrassing to make this available to fellow Amazonians The condition of my bathtub caulking! I will be much more cautious in the future of being critical of some of the videos I’ve watched and thought to myself, how did you ever let your shower door gather that much gonna call Annette or your shower door glass accumulate so much soap scum! I think or hope my experience with videoing my tub will make me a better person and less judging or not judging of my fellow man’s cleanliness processes! So many wins! May God bless you, your tub experience, and your tub caulking as well as the condition of your tub faucet hardware which I’m now just realizing also needs probably replacing! Read more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This is my third one of these. They work great. Why did I replace them? They get gross! Mildew builds up under the rim and you can't remove or bleach it off. Even by soaking overnight. So, okay, it takes a long time to get disgusting enough to throw out, and it still works, and maybe it wouldn't bother some people. But this time, I'm buying the smoky bronze one in the hopes that it hides the mildew longer, even though it's a weird color for my bathroom. Read more
