Based on the design, I thought that these might have a wider calf but they did not fit around my calves at all - super tight. So if you are a lady with calves, these are not for you! These boots are to die for gorgeous. The glitter can't be ignored. I bought size 9.5 and there is sock room in them. My usual size is nine and my standing up foot length is 10.1. I love them, not tight or too stiff. I can put them on without unzipping them. I'm wearing them on my flight to Arizona next month. I don't believe that the stones will be coming off.
