Horrible smell of burning plastic
These bags technically fit my 2.5-liter crock pot, but once I plugged the crock pot in, there was an overwhelming smell of burning plastic. It was immediate and extremely strong. This was especially alarming because the dish was for a potluck, and I genuinely worried that I was exposing people to melting plastic fumes or contamination. I removed the bag right away and threw it out. Thankfully, I was able to salvage the food, but the situation was embarrassing and stressful. Anything designed to be used with heat should absolutely not emit a burning plastic smell. I returned the product and will never use crock pot liners like this again. I would not recommend these to anyone, especially for shared meals or events. Read more
