Purchased this for my husband’s 08 Silverado for a temporary solution for his missing center console. He’d purchased a cover for the factory center console because the leather was all cracked & peeling. Using the recommended seatbelt looped through the back of this doesn't come even close to providing a secure hold. What works FAR better is putting the seatbelt over the top - but they didn't support that option in their design, which is a missed opportunity. A simple slot or notch to catch the seatbelt from sliding up the angled portion of the top would have been an easy 5/5.
