WOW! So a friend of mine recently showed me her very cute purse she bought that looked just like this. She is in a much higher tax bracket than me (case in point, she bought it for spring break in Paris). I just had to laugh because I'd literally been shopping that day at my local big box store for a simple crossbody and been frustrated by how floppy and poorly thought out they were. Whereas her purse was perfection: perfect size, very demure, functional while being fashionable. Just well constructed. So when I saw this purse online, I smiled because it looked so much like my friends purse. But, you know, like 20x less the cost. I thought, "what the heck, I'll take a chance and ordered it." Thought at the least I'd get a laugh over the vast difference. Oh. My. Gosh. I feel like I hit the jackpot. I am not a person who can look at different bags and immediately pick out craftsman stitching versus mass-machine build, etc. Don't get me wrong. But I think I have a decent eye for quality and there is so much quality in this bag! The structure is firm without being rigid. Not floppy. It matters with crossbody bags especially because you don't want them bouncing around as you walk. The bag is the perfect size for your phone with a few extras like keys, lipstick, etc. You won't bring your whole life with you, but for a smaller bag it holds a lot. And it is separated into 3 interior sections with the center being a zippered pocket to better secure things like your phone/wallet. The crossbody strap has way more length adjustability than any other I own, which I love. You can unclip it and either leave it at home or tuck it into the bag to make it a cute little handheld. Finally, the material does a very good job of *not* looking or feeling like faux leather. The pebbled nature is maybe a give away, but I have a pebbled real leather purse that doesn't feel or look any different. It's soft without being unstructured and has a supple, rich look to it. Another thing that I love is that so often these non-name brand purses still feel the need to plaster their random names somewhere on the bag. It's so pointless and a huge detraction. Honestly I feel that way even about the luxury brands -- it's tacky. This one avoids that and it's well-appreciated. If I had, and I mean *have* to ding this purse, it would maybe be the hardware. A lot of times you can tell the "fake" bags by their hardware, and this does feel like it could be on the cheaper side. In part because it's so shiny, but also just by feel/weight. It was very versatile in the fact that I was able to take it to the movies and also take it to the tree lighting. You can take this anywhere. The size is perfect and there’s plenty of storage.
