I’m going to attempt to write the review I wanted to see when I was deciding whether to buy these. My Use Case: I wanted a pill container I could clip to my water bottle and take to my food service job or on errands for my daily meds. Each evening, I portion out my evening and daytime meds into two separate containers. I take my evening meds about an hour before bed, and in the morning I take all my morning meds except one—which I need to remember to take ~six hours later. What I Used Before Previously I was using the tiny Bonne Maman jam jars. They worked okay, but: • They were too bulky. • Sometimes they popped open. • I’d often forget (or be too busy) to dig my second dose out of my purse. • The clear glass was helpful for my ADHD, but it also meant my meds were on display if I left them out. In my photos, you can see: • The container clipped to my 20oz Hydroflask. • A comparison between these and the jam jars. • How much they can hold (you can even fit round Tums in them). Note: The two pink “bottom” pieces (the ones without threads underneath) are deeper than the rest. Those two are the only ones that can hold my evening supplements (five large pills and four small ones). That’s fine for me, but worth noting if you take a lot of large vitamins or capsules. They screw and unscrew smoothly, though there’s a bit of an unpleasant metal-on-metal sound. It doesn’t bother me too much—they’re so useful that it’s a minor tradeoff—but I might try a bit of metal lubricant to reduce it. The metal also clinks against my water bottle a bit loudly, but again, not a dealbreaker. Overall These are great for my needs. I only ever use two at a time, but the extra pieces will be perfect for purse ibuprofen, travel meds, etc. Well worth the $6.99 I paid. I have another little case on the way, but I don’t think it will replace this. I also think these would also be great for anyone who has to take meds with food and worries about forgetting them. I love that I can use this for any amount of pills or other small items and not carry more than I actually need. Additionally, it is strong yet light, so it likely could be used for self defense in a pinch, or even as a small rolling pin. The inclusion of 2 tops with carabiners makes it possible to make 2 entirely separate carriers, which makes this purchase even more useful. Each canister is large enough to hold 4 large ginger root capsules plus 2 smaller Vitamin D3/Vitamin K2 combo capsules for my husband and me to take when we are out and about. Read more
I use it daily. Take these with me everywhere. They have a rubber seal that has helped not let water get in each colored slot. I recommend. Easy to use, easy to twist open. Read more
Good: this is beautiful, well-made, very sturdy yet lightweight. The screw threads are long and precision machined. It will not accidentally fall apart in your purse, leaving you to wonder whether you've forgotten a dose. I love that you can use any number of compartments in the stick and that it comes with a second top and base. The outside is lightly textured to hide fingerprint smudges, but still smooth. Bad: bought this to put my daily medication in it for travel and it is waaaaay bigger than I need. I can put 9 days of pills (3x/day) in one compartment. Don't even think about putting it on a keychain or in your pocket. With 7 compartments, it's longer than my toothbrush in my travel kit, and almost as tall as my iPad mini (pictured). It's fatter around than a phone in an otterbox, and the outer diameter is as big as a US quarter (pictured). Sadness. The quest for secure medication storage that is actually small continues. Works well, takes up very small space and holds more pills than I expected. Held 3 round, 3 oval and one huge oval gel all with room to spare. Screw cap works well and tightens nicely. You do have to twist a LOT to open and close them. I’m sure it makes it more secure but the metal squeaks the whole time, so if you have to take your meds and prefer to do it discreetly and not make a production this isn’t the choice for you. Also, the 2 bottom ones can only be on the bottom, so you can’t switch the purples to the middle if you wanted to do that. Read more
These are so nice. Our dogs have chewed on plastic bottles and opened them. This they can’t get into. Love that you can take one or the whole set out. They are kind of tiny. So I have to use two for my day of pills. But I just put am in one. And pm in the other. Works great and don’t have to worry about the dogs getting hurt. Read more
Really tiny, yes the picture shows how small they are but didn’t realize until I received it. I tried to use a label maker to put what vitamins are in which container and it doesn’t stick very well. My multi vitamins do not fit in them at all. This would be good for small pills like Zyrtec or headache medicine. Read more
