The Zyluria smart glasses are a neat idea, but they don’t fully deliver. The lenses do not transition as advertised, which was disappointing. The audio works, but the sound quality becomes distorted at higher volumes. They’re okay for casual use, but don’t expect perfect performance. Could be better with some improvements. Read more

These smart glasses look good and work perfectly fine when a slightly darkened lens is needed outside. That is when the auto-darkening feature comes in handy. From a design standpoint, they don’t look like anything more than just a normal pair of glasses, which I appreciate. As a concept, they’re genuinely cool. That said, they’re more impractical in everyday use than I imagined. While the Bluetooth and audio feature works, I’ve found that most of the time there just isn’t a good or appropriate situation to actually use them. Maybe that’s just my use case, but I haven’t really found a moment where all the features felt necessary, and never the audio. Read more

I have a few issues. 1. Hurts around ear on top, after a couple of hours in need of some adjustments. 2. The translucent is not at all any color change in the sun. 3. The translation is not working right with hearing people talk, delaying response and just can't wait that long for the app to respond for me to respond. Thinking of returning . Talk is good music is good.. but what I need it for doesn't work Read more

I paired the glasses easily. The first thing I tried was simplest, listening to music, but I only heard right side audio. Turns out you have to press and hold both arms, to power on both, and then the individual BT devices will stereo pair to your source. The instructions for "power on" is so tiny that I had to use a camera in macro mode plus a magnifier to read it. Seemingly, you have to do the same to turn both arms off as well. The functions do work well. 3 taps on the left side opens Gemini ready to listen on my Android device. Which AI opens for you will be dependent on your phone software/settings; has nothing to do with this device. The other tap functions work fine too, but you will have to memorize which side to tap for some of the functions. The glasses feel comfortable and look okay. I like the transition lenses for outdoor wear, no eye strain at all, but I would prefer a darker shade. The sound from both "speakers" is clear, while not at all loud. They seem okay for listening to walking/driving directions and reasonably good for a phone call in a quiet environment, but not good for listening to a full range of music frequencies. I also tried listening to an audiobook and that was fine in a quiet environment as well. Based on the reviews of others that can be read here, I chose to not spend time trying to get the Heylink Audio software to work for me. I assumed the QR code would be translation software, which would be a neat trick, but there is actually no mention at all on the Play Store page for what the software does so it make zero sense to install, let alone give permissions to, software that is either not going to add features or requires me to subscribe. 4 stars for comfort and functionality, 2 stars for the very weak speakers, 2 stars for difficult to read instructions and 0 stars for lack of explanation that the software is a third party app. Read more

I am absolutely thrilled with these Smart Glasses with Bluetooth Translation and Open-Ear Audio! They look just like a sleek pair of sunglasses, but the technology inside is incredible. The sound quality is crystal clear — I can listen to music, take calls, and even use the translation feature without disturbing anyone around me. Read more

I want to start by saying I purchased these for two specific reasons. I saw that they are blue-light glasses and I was also drawn to the bluetooth microphone/speaker feature as well because if I'm working online all day, my ears will get fatigued after a while with headphones or AirPods in, so having an alternative speaker situation is great. I do like them for these two features although I'm not sure about how good the quality is for blue-light blocking. I have migraine, specifically IIH, and working all day on the computer often triggers a breakthrough headache so I try to minimize triggers as much as is possible. I do still feel eye-strain after a few hours continuous work in front of a screen while using these glasses, but I am very sensitive to blue-light. They are a bit heavier than some blue-light glasses I have due to the tech on the ear pieces, but overall they're pretty comfortable. Also, I really like that there's about a 25' range from my iPhone so if I have to step into another room on a call, I don't have to bring my phone with me. Also, the microphone works well. The charge does last like 4-5 hours and only takes about an hour to fully charge up, and the glasses return to the clear shade after about 5 minutes or so of being back in doors. Now the reason I took off one star is because these glasses claim to have a lot of functions that I'm not convinced about. First, regarding the transition aspect when outdoors. It does transition to having some good shading (see attached photo) but I would not say it's anywhere close to 400spf, nor are the glasses polarized. The tinted transition is good though for when I'm working indoors and then stepping out to continue working on for example a cabinetry project where I need to still have visibility and eye protection. The bonus of a bit of sun protection is a welcome feature. Also, the translation feature is ok. I've tested several AI translation apps with paired headphones because I work with a lot of international counterparts and it would be a great aid for times when language is a barrier, and the tech/software is all about the same...kind of middle of the road from accuracy. I suspect this will be greatly improved in the next year or so as AI is improving at such a rapid rate, and hopefully the existing products I have will have software updates so that they'll still be relevant when the tech does catch up. The app itself is relatively easy to use after you play around with it for a bit to figure it out. *Also, fyi, the binding code is on the front page of the user manual incorporated into the same QR code you use to download the app (I saw that other people had difficulty finding it). Random note...I did try using the translation feature while watching an opera and right now it cannot distinguish language if there is additional background noise like music playing simultaneously, but again, I suspect that the tech will be able to handle that in another year or so as well. Overall, these are a fun gadget to have around for the above reasons and I think they're a good value for what all they do have especially in comparison to some of the other products on the market.
