Ideal for the desired use; photochromic, filters UV light and computer’s blue light. Just good. Read more
The product itself is 3 stars, but when you consider the price, I had to give these glasses 4 stars. Let's start with the overall fit and finish. They are slightly larger than I would have preferred, but not crazy big. They are very light weight. The glasses may feel cheap to some people due to the material used, but I like how light they are. I wish the lenses were a bit darker, but they still provide decent protection. The electronics: The buttons seem responsive so far, but you do have to power on both sides when you use them, but you only have to use the button on the right side to power off both sides. Speaking of both sides, each side has to be charged. Luckily the included charging cord accommodates charging both sides at once. The charging cord uses magnetic charging "ports", so you don't have to worry about inserting a connection that could break. Sound: They have plenty of volume for everyday situations, but probably not enough for loud environments. These are definitely not for anyone to seriously listen to music, but they are great for things like podcasts. Phone calls: I have used these for making phone calls three times, and not a single person has complained about being able to hear me. Honestly, I think they work better than using my actual phone's speaker and microphone. Alexa: No, you can't say "Alexa" followed by a command. You can hit the microphone button in the Alexa app and be able to utilize Alexa. So it is definitely not an Alexa enable device. Overall: For the tiny price, I do believe you get above average performance for what is essentially a microphone and set of tiny speakers mounted into a pair of inexpensive sun glasses. I have not had the opportunity to look at one of the things that indicates how much actual UV blocking is happening with these glasses. Read more
These aren't even worth $10. They sound like sound coming from the tin-cans connected by a string we all use to do as kids. They don't even function as sunglasses - that is, they don't darken when in direct sunlight. I started a return but because they have a battery, Amazon makes it to where I have to box them up and print a label, I will just eat the $30. These are something I would expect to find in a dollar store for a $1. Read more
Surpsingly good. The audio is good enough to hear music/podcasts while still being alert to your surroundings. The frame is kind of chunky but that’s expected at this price. The transitions lenses work, but doesn’t block out light? Maybe they’re not designed for that but the lens to go dark in the sun. For $20 it can’t be beat. Read more
Decent sound, but tinny. Touch controls are fussy. Battery life is good. The transitioning lenses don’t work great. They tint a little. They are comfortable and you don’t notice them. Great for listening to podcasts while working but not loud enough to listen to in a crowded area. Read more
These shade look great and lightweight. They protect your eyes well from the sun. As for the speakers, THEY SUCK! The pair I received only one side works. But the sound is very low and there is now lowering or raising the volume. Don’t waste your money on these. Read more
