Okay so hear me out I never thought I’d be the type of person to wear smart glasses. Like, I already lose my regular sunglasses on a weekly basis, so adding technology to the mix seemed like asking for chaos. But curiosity got me, and now here I am… living my best sci-fi movie protagonist life with these Padom Smart Glasses. First off, the sound quality? Shockingly good. I expected that faint “tin can” effect like cheap earbuds, but nope crisp, clear, and somehow private enough that my coworkers can’t hear me blasting my “get things done” playlist (aka Taylor Swift and Viking battle music). The open ear thing is weird at first, but I quickly got used to it. I can hear my surroundings and my music, which means I no longer have to choose between jamming out or dodging traffic. The mic works great too I took a call while walking the dog, and my neighbor thought I was talking to myself again, but jokes on them, I’m just efficient now. The photochromic lenses? Chef’s kiss. They actually adjust like magic, and I feel like Tony Stark every time they darken. The fit’s comfy too, not all bulky like I feared. Only downside? They make me feel a little too cool. Like, I caught my reflection in the window and gave myself the “sup” nod. In short these glasses are pure futuristic fun. You’ll look smart, feel smart, and maybe even be smart (jury’s still out on that last one). 10/10, would absolutely buy again… if I don’t accidentally leave them at Starbucks. Read more
Decent looking. I think I have a larger head and the fit isn’t great. I wanted these to listen to music while out shopping. Someone’s kid always seems to be screaming in the aisles and I thought to keep these next to my keys and wallet and throw on top of my head and use while out IInstead of having to put my earbud box in my pocket. Unless I’m missing something the highest volume is crap! I could barely hear the music in a quiet room let alone while out in public while at a bustling store. Returning. Read more
