I bought this for my Christmas tree. It’s ideal because the Christmas tree doesn’t have an on/off switch. However, in my experience, I’ve noticed that it’s not good to have electrical surge flowing automatically to any device that has an on/off switch (while the device is left in an “on” position). Over time, in my experience, the device will stop working because the device is never in “off” position when the voltage hits. I am not an electrician, this is just based on my experience with other products (this includes, simply just plugging and unplugging devices from outlets without turning them off first). Read more

I bought this to work with my wax warmer. I wanted to be able to set a schedule of 4 hours on, 4 off throughout the day. This allowed me to do this, most won’t let you add more than one. I was able to set On at 6 when my house wakes up and continue on and off until we go to bed. You can adjust to anytime of day you want and how every often you want. Which is rad! It was super easy to hook up via app. I haven’t bother to hook it up to my Alexa though. No need for her to be involved with this. I will buy buying more in the future for my other warms.
