I have a 30’ x 10’ screened in patio. I have slept out here many nights in the summer, but winter was going to be challenging. I had an oscillating heater but the warm air blowing in my face irritated my nose. I found this to solve the problem. It has a high, medium & low setting. The knob on top is super easy to deal with. So far low & medium have been plenty warm for 50’s & high 40’s. Will be colder next 3 nights so we’ll see if I have to go up to high. One glass tube is low, the other is medium, and both together are high. I don’t want to give an estimate about how big of area it covers since my set up is not going to be the norm. I’m 5’1” & I believe it’s covering that width on the sofa or my tootsies would have gotten cold. I’m just in a nightgown with a sheet & 2 lightweight microfiber blankets & so comfy. You get warm so quickly! I love there’s no noise except a little banging sound sometimes right after I turn it off. I had read on another review of different manufacturer the metal around their unit shot up to 125degrees. I use the handle to move this one or grab the top 6” with no problem. If outside in a windy area you will want to place rocks/bricks/etc. to make sure it doesn’t blow over. I pretty much live on the patio so this has made a huge difference in extending my ability to do so. I recommend to others! Update: So happy with this I bought a second one. One is at my head & one at my feet. Made it through 27 degrees & up at night sleeping. They are workhorses for me. If they get knocked over & were turned on, they will turn off immediately as they should. Just turn it back to off & try turning back on. If it doesn’t come back on right away, just wait a couple of minutes & try again & breathe a sigh of relief it still works. Ha! I can’t stress enough how safe it is to be around. I have touched it pretty much everywhere & it is not hot in an uncomfortable way on any part of the unit. Read more

I highly recommend this infrared heater, it is fast-acting when heating a room or keeping you warm when outside. At first, I thought I paid too much for a simple heater, but when it arrived and I started using I realized: oh I got gold! :) It heats fast, and height is excellent when you are sitting outside. A garage for 2 cars got warm after 15 minutes with this heater, that day was 27 degrees outside. I have owned it for 2 full months, and I use it often for short periods, so far no issues at all! The accessory to avoid accidentally touching it is great and works as intended. If you tilt the heater it automatically stops working which is great for safety reasons. Buy it, and test it for yourself, but it is electric; so, don't leave it outside in the rain. Read more

Looks good, heats well, easy to mount on wall. I took away one star because it was obviously a return being sold as new, but it was in Like New condition. Read more

This is a great heater. I have no complaints. It works fine and does what it says. I highly recommend it. But, beware of one detail: Wherever you plan to use this heater, make sure the electrical circuit that it is going to be on is protected by a 20 amp fuse or circuit breaker. This is recommended by the manufacturer in the manual that comes with the heater. At full power, this heater uses 1500W. That pushes a 15 amp fuse or circuit breaker to its limit. All it takes is to turn on a few more appliances to push the 15 amp fuse or circuit breaker past its limits and off goes the power. You need the little extra room a 20 amp fuse or circuit breaker provides. This problem is not unique to this unit. It is not a design flaw. This issue will arise in any heater or electrical device that uses 1500W of power to operate. The circuit breaker in my house is 15 amps. I popped it only once, but once was enough. Since upgrading the circuit breaker to a 20 amp was not an option for me, I was forced to return the heater. Again, there is nothing wrong with this heater. It works great. Just be aware of the added caveat when deciding to purchase this or any heater using 1500W or more. Read more

This wall heater provides excellent and uniform heat coverage. I have this heater installed on my daughter's bedroom wall (250 square foot room). It was super easy to mount and has made the space very comfortable. The wireless capability, timer options, and remote control enhance it's functionality. My favorite feature is the automatic temperature adjustment, for drafty areas and homes with poor insulation this feature is priceless. Read more

We have used this to successfully keep warm on our back patio and, when our heat went out, in our living room. It was easy to assemble. It's super easy to use and does a good job of putting out heat. I would definitely use as instructed-- with someone present and awake, away from flammable fabrics, etc. but it's been really successful and a great buy for the price. Read more

We bought this for our patio. The amount of heat it blows out is very little. If you are within a few feet of it, you can feel some warmth, but not much. The metal drop screen makes it top heavy and it will turn over easily if bumped. Would not buy again. Read more
