Smartish iPhone 11 Pro Max Wallet Case - Wallet Slayer Vol 2 Slim Protective Kickstand Credit Card Holder

I've had many iPhones and many cases. Unfortunately, as most iPhone owners know, a case is basically a necessity for this near (or sometimes in excess of) $1000 device. Luckily, along the way I've really, really loved some of the cases I've had--for example the Apple Silicone Case was great for the tactile feel and durability. But this is the case that stands above the rest. Now, when I get a new iPhone, I don't even think twice, I just head over to Amazon and order the latest version. Why is that the case (ouch, bad pun) you might ask? Simple, because this case is the perfect combination of form and function. Prior to finding this case, I tried other wallet type cases including the Apple wallet case. None even come close. Personally, I hate the folio type cases as I look at my phone far too often to want to have to flip open a cover to look at it. No such issues with this design. For some people, I can see how the limited number of cards that this phone can hold would be a downside--personally I carry one business credit card, one personal credit card, and my driver's license (although if you really cram stuff in and stretch the case out a little, you could get another card in) plus some spare cash behind my phone (inside the case) and I've learned to get by with that as my daily wallet. With three cards, I find that the case is only ever so slightly thicker than with a relatively svelte non-wallet case and much thinner than a folio type case. I understand how three cards and only emergency cash could be light for some people, but with increasing acceptance of Apple Pay and other electronic payment technologies, I find it very easy to live with. I also love the tactile feel of this case. The outside has a nice textured finish which gives some much needed grip to the iPhone. Although I love the way a naked iPhone looks and feels, I also marvel at the people who go caseless because to my hand, holding an uncased iPhone feels a bit like trying to hold a beautiful but slippery fish in your hand. With this case, I always feel like I have a good firm grip on the phone. All of the buttons also have a pretty responsive feel. They're not as good as the actual buttons like the Apple Silicone case has (or at least had at one point) but they're entirely acceptable and offer only a little more resistance than just the phone by itself. On the--unfortunately not rare enough--occasion that I do drop my phone, I've found that this case offers really good protection. Now, we're not talking Otterbox Defender level of protection here, but then again I also don't want my case to turn my phone into something that feels like we're in the 90's either. However, I've dropped my phone directly on its face far too many times and this case definitely does its job. Finally, although I didn't realize it was even a feature for the longest time, the kickstand (which is "activated" by sticking a credit card into a slot on the case) is pretty useful as well. Although I don't use it too often, it's one of those little niceties that shows you that someone really thought about this case. All in all, for me at least, this is the PERFECT case. I don't think I'd really change anything about it and I know that I'll be buying another one when I get a new iPhone! Read more

I love love love my new phone case. I’ve used a thin case with a pop socket for over two years now and finally I am free from finger pain because of it. I was worried before it arrived that with my luck something will go wrong with this product but it’s easily one of the best phone cases I’ve seen on the market for iPhone. Previously I was used a real leather oem apple phone case for the 11 pro and while I love that case, it doesn’t do a good job of keeping you feeling like your phone is clean. It’s always got this thin sheen of softness that confuses you to think it’s dirty a day after wiping it down. Here’s the come the smartish case for v2 and when they advertise the case having a textured grip, they weren’t kidding. It feels beautifully rough. This is the perfect texture for a phone, granted not the one and only perfect texture. It really adds grip and style. You’re chances of dropping the phone drastically reduces and now I can hold it in my hands without thinking subtle thoughts about it possibly being dirty? The design is gorgeous. I wish it did a full wrap around but I assume that’s not a possibility due to technological reasons? I bought a matching prop tart to replace my permanent need for a pop socket or ring kickstand holder and I’m happy I did. My only complaint with the proptart, and you have to apply it in the center, is that it leans your iPhone back further than a pop socket does when it’s on its side using the stand. I’ll probably get used to that. The proptart also feels miraculously better than a pop socket as I no longer have my fingers applying pressure to some wonky plastic to hold my phone with one hand. This is comfortable! I have 3 cards inside the case they’re snug and tight as it should be. It’s not good for men to put their wallets in the back pocket as studies have shown that will cause back problems! Gone are those days. I have everything I need on and in this phone case and I’m very satisfied. Oh yes, I forgot one last thing: yes it’s thin, yes it has a lip on the front and back the fully protect both screens/lenses from getting scratched. What are you waiting for? Purchase this. Absolutely love this case. It is a perfect and snug fit that protects the phone. The case has a harder shell but is wrapped with a faux leather that is very comfortable. The pocket on the back is big enough for a couple of cards and I mean a "couple". It does say it has a credit card kick-stand - which is a narrow credit card length of plastic that pins the card. The stand is basically a ledge the card presses against to prop the phone. The angle isn't great, but I didn't get his case for that reason. This is a very good quality phone case. The leather finish is has a very stylish look. The textured grip actually increases your grip and prevents the phone from slipping out of your hands like some of the other smoother cases out there. I was able to fit three cards into the slot on the back. I think over time as the case naturally settles I may be able to squeeze three cards into that slot, we will see. The cards are held firmly in place and there is no chance they would accidentally slip it. It there is a little gap on the bottom of the slot that allows you to push the card out of the slot with your thumb, this is a sharp design as it prevents you from having to try to "grip" your card at the top and pull it out. Very smart touch by the product manager who designed this. The case also slightly expends past the front edge of the phone which protects those delicate corners. Essentially if you drop your phone face flat on the ground the slightly raised edges are the only thing that will come in contact with the floor even if you drop it square on one of the edges. This is critical to extend the life of your phone. The case is overall very slim and does not add excessive girth to the phone. Absolutely great buy. I would strongly recommend. Read more
