When I recently got the Pocket 2, it was to basically complement my Mini 3 Pro. Unfortunately there were some things about it that I really didn't care for, such as its tiny body (I literally was holding it between my thumb and index fingers), it's tiny display, and the quality of the pictures it took. I contemplated returning it and waiting to see if something else would come out later this year. But then I saw this. An immediate appeal was that it would not only allow me to film for longer periods, but it also gave me something to fully hold on to. The tripod, which can also be used to further lengthen the handle, was also very nice, as this was a piece of kit I was missing, since I didn't spring for the creator combo. The biggest surprise though was the bracket to hold both the camera and the Pocket 2. At first I thought it was just convenient, but then I realized that the power stick was charging both my camera and my phone. Presto, the issue with the tiny display was resolved, and I will probably always use this setup, as it also means I no longer need to deal with fiddly controls like a joystick or contextual button mashing. This in an invaluable accessory for the Pocket. I purchased it for the trip of a lifetime to London. I didn't want to have to worry about battery life with the Pocket itself. This battery made sure I never had to, even when using the Pocket frequently throughout the day, and then taking an hour long timelapse. The cell phone adapter also makes for a very solid complete unit. I never had to worry about either the phone or the Pocket wiggling loose and falling.
