First of all - I have a difficult time finding pants that truly fit me. I am 5'2", with a small waist and a bit full in the hips. Usually, I wear size 6, sometimes size 8. These come in XS - 2XL. I took my measurements and according to the size chart, I should fit into a size S. So, I took a chance and ordered them, and I'm glad I did - they fit me perfectly! I love these pants because: the price is right, the overall size is perfect, (even the length) they are well made with material that is water-repellent, is both lightweight and sturdy enough for hiking, the elastic waistband is thick but comfortable and easily adjustable with drawstrings, there are multiple pockets and the pants are convertible to shorts with good quality zippers, and the length of the short is at the perfect height above the knee. I ordered black because I can pair them with any color and I'm glad I ordered the brown because it is a beautiful, deep mocha brown - very pretty! I will be hiking in the Alps next July and I think 2 pair will be enough for 8 days, but I'm already looking for an excuse to buy a third pair! I highly recommend them!! Read more

Love these pants! Bought them for a hiking trip out to Utah (Zion, Bryce). The weight of the fabric is perfect. The ease of transforming them from long pants to short was easy, peasy and I didn't even have to remove my hiking boots! The bottom parts rolled up small enough to fit in my very full pack and weigh next to nothing. They wash well and hold up well too. I love the way these pants fit except for the transition from shorts to zip offs on the inside. For me, the band of material feels rough and will chafe. Thus I am returning them. Too bad because I liked everything else about these pants! Read more
Love these so far. Haven’t put them in action yet but will soon on my upcoming trip to Thailand. It is very hard for me to find hiking pants long enough. I bought these because of the elastic hem.
